Sora from Kingdom Hearts. He's fun and friendly, and he never hesitates to help those in need. He's true to his emotions and that doesn't make him weak. He inspires me to be better.

William Thatcher from A Knight's Tale. He is honorable, loving, brave and made something out of his life even though he was poor and a peasant.

Great question. My favourite would be Dorothea from Middlemarch. She's so calm and self possessed and even though she suffers she's aware of the people in her world and cares about them, and cares about how her behaviour affects them. She's clever and kind and doesn't have a sense of entitlement. She doesn't fall into the trap of thinking she is a hero or a victim. I really admire her.
