1st -15th August 2022 Positive Messages and Reminders
Hey everyone.
Positive messages and reminders. These are easy to give but what has stuck with you?
Are there any you want to share for anyone out there who is having a bad day or feeling like their world has been crumbled?
I’ve been told by those I’m close to that when one door closes another one opens and that although the journey has ended with something what is left is memories. Memories of your progression and memories of the good relationships you have had.
What are some of the positive reminders people in your life have given you ?
Moments of reflections to reflect on . Are you ready? ❤️: @1life1universe @4GetMeNottt @AbHinc @Actuallynobody017 @AddictedTealover98 @aditighosh02 @alphav7 @AmethystAngel @Antthony101 @ArtemisGrey @avahenrie123 @AveryLove @awesomeMoment4384 @black1995 @blissedNblessed @BlueRiver5968 @Bluesky1964 @BlueSkyes1125 @Bnaner55 @Booklover95 @breeuniqemsns @brendenjensen @brilliantMoment97 @brutalBiscuit @bubbleBalsam6602 @Bubbles2025 @BwahahaLove @CalmCow @calmsoulmeet @calmWillow5266 @caringCreature8571 @caringHope1976 @catlover456 @centremid @Christiinee @ColorfulKiwi436 @comfortingRose21 @CompassionateDave @CompassionCake @considerateParadise6717 @cosmicats @courteousWater2527 @decisiveOcean892 @DeeGold @diamondintheROUGH2022 @diligentChestnut509 @easyRaspberries164 @EmbStitcher33 @endyb156 @exquisitePeace7976 @exuberantMaple397 @fearlessFriend6573 @Fearlesslake610 @ferventflame @fluffyunicorns84 @frostyOcean72 @futuredavidblue98 @fy64 @genie20 @GhostLily @glisteningeyes @GloriaD @GoldenRuleJG @Gozzil @GustyOne4U @happyface1014 @HappyTree906 @healinghearts0718 @HealingSinthia @healingWhisper @herealways27 @higherselfhealing999 @Hope3729 @Hpoole @immaddie @incredibleWatermelon1029 @intellectualDrum3128 @ItsReganingRain @IvyL @JayTheBird14 @Jennifer164 @JetBlu2507 @JoyfulUnicorn @JustOneMoreEpisode @K87 @KACOSMIC @Kassy7cups @Katiets @kindKitten1457 @KoiFish @korange @Ktlev07 @Lavenderaesthetic081401 @Lexloveslife @lightingsun12345 @LightofWorld @LilyLe @lilypilli @lindseynlola @littleSky9143 @Ljubicica5 @Lolowise475 @LovetoGod @lunaa1990 @mellietronx @melliotm @MiCha1005 @MissPen @MissSkeleton @moonrust @MrJacob @mxmes @nadiasaleh26 @neatBalloon7178 @Nerdtastic @neverendingMermaid74 @niceDaisy36 @nickname55304 @nordurnStar @oliqia @optimisticRaspberries5247 @orangeyouglad68 @Orthrus @Paprika001 @parisliangbts @Peaceintruth @peppermintlove @Pidge2 @princesstears @PumpkabooKayla @PurpleSnail @purpleWheel873 @Ramiluz1 @Redmark @Redmitray19 @reliablebutoftenforgotten @resourcefulPond1641 @river @SadHippo208 @sail46 @sarang26 @SavoyTruffle20 @SeekingOkay @selena555 @selflessSpruce1515 @serenitysearch @ShyCat1678201 @SilverSeastar @sincerePenny4591 @Skyy0 @SofiaStardust @Softhearted975 @Solitary3102 @Stardew3 @Storyhymns1234 @Sunisshiningandsoareyou @sunshinegiraffe123 @supportiveApple61 @SweetDreamer69 @sweetlife101 @Swiftygirl13 @tealCurrent9178 @TheAutumnWitch @Themorningowl @tillyszarawarski02 @TNTDynamite @Totheskyandbeyond @Tye00 @VerseArt @Violiness @warmheartedBlackberry592 @WarmLightXO @WelcomeToChat @WhiteAlbatros @WhiteDolphin27 @WowThatsABigHug @Zeraphim @zulegirl @zunygne0505
My grandma taught me how and why to pray when I was really little. So thankful she had such a gentle, but strong faith. Looking back to that time helps a great deal at times...even now that I'm not far from the big 7 0... It's amazing how some moments never leave your memory.
One thing recently that I was thankful for was to take big projects or bad days, one step at a time... one moment at a time. Just keep breathing... just keep tryin'.
@EmbStitcher33 I’m glad to hear that religion has helped you 🤍
@GoldenRuleJG
Not religion, spirituality. Religion to me is a racket and a way to control people. jmho... I've been in and pulled myself out of a religious cult. Never again. I do believe going to church can provide fellowship/companionship for some. But I'll never swallow any man-made religion hook-line-&-sinker again.
@EmbStitcher33 sorry to hear that . Thanks for confirming :)
To those who are religious we respect you as much as those who are not - it’s all about the heart and good deeds you do. ❤️
@GoldenRuleJG
I read your post again and didn't realize that I had responded to this post before...lol. O well.
I respect free will without question. Everyone has to figure out what works for them. I accept that many like the companionship, the fellowship of a church. And once in a great while I'll go just to be around people. And sometimes the church leaders may say something that can resonate with me. But I've had way too much of the judging and the religious cliques in my life.
I believe in heaps of love for everybody!! That's my strongest belief. 😄 ❤️ ☀️
@GoldenRuleJG
O NO, it's not religion. I will never be a member of any religion. It's spirituality. My grandma gave me my very first real lesson beyond human control...spirituality. To me, religion (and this is my experience, not pushing anything on anyone else here...) Religion makes me feel I need to have some man or woman, another human being, to stand in between my relationship with my Creator. I'm a human being too. I don't believe I need any other human to tell me what that relationship is. I don't need to hear anyone say that I'm not good enough to speak for myself. My grandma taught me to look deep inside myself and pray my heart out. I still do that to this day. ❤️
What are some of the positive reminders people in your life have given you?
I've always been reminded to stay focused, tenacious, graceful and humble. No matter how the other party is acting, I'm not in control of them. I'm in control of my reactions and remaining respectful. It's been very, very rewarding advice that has never failed me to this day.

My son's girlfriend every now and then will share memories she has of being with my son. It helps to hear these positive moments he shared with her while he was alive. She likes talking to me because I give her comfort too...happy that I can do that for her. . .
