Celebrating the Autumnal Equinox ✨
Hello! As we approach the autumnal equinox in just three days (on September 23rd), let's take a moment to reflect on this beautiful transition in nature.
The autumnal equinox marks the point in the year when day and night are nearly equal in length, bringing us into the fall season. It's a time when the leaves on the trees begin to change their colours, painting the world in shades of red, orange, and gold. The air becomes crisper, and there's a sense of change all around us.
This transition from summer to autumn can be seen as a metaphor for life itself. Just as the trees gracefully let go of their leaves, we too can practice letting go of what no longer serves us. It's a time to embrace change and cultivate gratitude for the beauty that each season brings.
In the spirit of gratitude, we can appreciate the abundance of the harvest season, both in nature and in our lives. The fading warmth of summer encourages us to be thankful for the moments of joy it brought, the harvest season, the warmth of the sun, and the approaching crispness of autumn invites us to embrace the cosy moments to come.
So, let's welcome the autumnal equinox with open hearts and a sense of gratitude. Embrace the changing seasons as a reminder that change can be beautiful. Take a moment to appreciate the balance between light and dark, day and night, and the endless cycle of nature that continues to inspire us.
Wishing you all a wonderful autumnal equinox filled with positivity and gratitude 🍂✨

How beautiful and inspiring, Mya!
Also at the Equinox, it's as if all the planet was in the same "season" for a brief time, as both the Northern and Southern hemispheres of Earth receive the same amount of light. Both hemispheres are facing the Sun the same way (not towards nor away from the Sun). This is most evident at the Poles.
So it might also be taken as a symbol of "one Earth" solidarity.
There have been initiatives to celebrate "International Unity" and "Global Citizenship" day at the Equinox.
In the same spirit but a bit earlier, September 21, the United Nations celebrates "International Peace Day" promoting ceasefires in all armed conflicts around the world.
@HealingTalk Thank you so much! Your insightful comment adds another layer of beauty and significance to the autumn equinox. The idea that during this brief moment, the entire planet experiences a harmonious balance of light is truly poetic and a wonderful symbol of unity. It's wonderful to know that there are initiatives at this time, these efforts remind us of the significance of coming together as a global community. Have a fantastic day!
