The light is not gone when you are in darkness. It is a continuum. Good and bad, dark and light, happiness and sadness. It's a continuum and you are narrow. If you are in dark and convinced there is no light, we're being narrow. The light's still out there, you don't have to find it, you're allowed to sit in your darkness, as long as you realize that it does still exist.

If you are feeling down, don't feel bad about crying because it actually will help you to release some of what is keeping you down. So, cry all you want because I'm here for you (and don't worry, I'll cry with you)!!

Making bad decisions and mistakes doesn't make you a bad person, it makes you a human..

Try to see yourself the way you see your loved ones. When they make a mistake do you berate them for it? Of course not. If they're having a bad day and don't look their best do you treat them differently? No, because you understand. I know it's hard to love yourself sometimes, but you have to remember that you're worthy of kindness, love, and respect, and that includes those things from yourself <3
