Proud of myself because...
I'm proud of myself because despite the abuse I've gone through my life, I feel I've never lost sight of who I am deep down. Although I've been exposed to verbal abuse since the age of 9, I never once did it back to anyone, because I know exactly how horrible it feels. I'm also proud because I know I've been an amazing role model for my younger half-siblings, that they don't even acknowledge me as only their "half" sister. Lastly, I'm proud because if there was any good that came out of my particular situation, its that I found my passion. And that passion is social work.

Firstly well done for writing this up I know it may take lots of courage! Secondly you're really a strong person after all what you been through you tried to be a role model to your younger siblings which is amazing you have to be proud of yourself!!
