Some questions!

- What is the best piece of advice someone has ever given you? How has it helped you achieve what you wanted to achieve?

- What is the best advice you think you ever gave to someone? Have you ever passed on the best advice you got given to someone else?

The best advise i gave to someone is to acknowledge their feelings feel them and let them go,numbing never works if you want to heal rather it creates more mental damage and crying doesn't mean you a weak person it's ok to shed few tears sometimes as makes you feel better.Healing and wisdom is food for your soul.

The best advise i recieved is people are going to judge you anyway don't be a people's pleaser and be focused more about what you feel about yourself

@Tina167

I love both the advice! Acknowledging your feelings then letting them go- feel them for as long as is needed, but no more. Nothing is permanent, and feelings are no different.

And its so true- everyone is going to judge you, and we cant please everyone! Plus, most of the time, people are more worried about themselves to even take a glance at you :p which can be a good thing sometimes! xx

My mom once told me that I don't always have to be the best as long as I do my best. She says that I can always be upset with myself if I don't do my best but doing myself would give me a lot peace

You cant make them do anything really. Whoever you particularly them is. Adulthood isnt an award theyll give you for being a good child. You have to take, it give to yourself. Say ‘Im sorry you feel like that, and walk away. But thats hard

The best advice I gave was that:

Suicide is a permenant answer to a temporary problem. Its not being a coward, nor a hero. Suicide is a way of escape from pain, but the beggining of another type of pain. How much effort would you put just to be thrown into another endless possibility that could cause you pain as well?

Everyone was made for a reason. You and I? Were all the same. A murderer is human. A saint is human. A doctor is human. Don't expect too much of yourself; and dont keep pushing yourself so hard towards your own goals that you fall. Because that fall is suicide; and it only leads to a darker place.

Ooh, I love it! Its true, that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Nothing lasts forever. Its hard to understand that though, when youre in the depths of a dark hole where you believe suicide is the only answer. What I know is everyone who tried to suicide from the Golden Gate Bridge And is a survivor, they have all said that they regretted their actions immediately once they stepped off the bridge.

We are all humans, and well get to where we want to be with time. No matter how slow that time seems to pass. I hope your advice struck a chord with that person, and well done on being the person who said such insightful and powerful words. Thank you so much for sharing with us today ❤️

You don't need to explain yourself. You don't owe anyone an explanation or reason for your decisions and actions.

Yes! We have that power- nobody else does. Nothing else does. Something might have happened against our will, against our control, but we ultimately have the power to use it against us, or to better our lives moving forward. Thank you for sharing with us xx
