Happiness
Happiness is fleeting.
It's impossible to be happy every day.
We have our good days and bad days.
Instead of 'happiness', we should strive for contentedness which is being 'content' with life.
Understanding that life is the good mixed in with the bad.
What were some moments in life where you felt content?

Hey 😊 I agree with you that life is a mix of the good and bad, and that we might not be happy always. It’s different everyday! But I also like how you talked about being content - you mean, being happy/satisfied with what we have or who we are, is that right?
For me - there were moments where I was satisfied with what I have achieved over time and realised the things or people that I have that I wouldn’t want to lose. I do make mistakes sometimes, but I am constantly learning from myself and around me ✨
What about you? 🌻
@GloriaD I love how you phrased everything. Beautifully said! I agree with what you said. Its important to understand and acknowledge all the good. Thanks for sharing!

You’re welcome 😊 Thanks for talking about this topic, it helped me remember all the things that I am grateful for, no matter how small they are 🌻

Hi Night! I really appreciate this post and the reminder that it is okay to have varying feelings! We won't always be happy, but like you said, It's important to be content with what we have. I think gratefulness is a word that I like to use because gratefulness can remind us how lucky we are. I think I feel content in life when I realize how lucky I am for my family, friends, health, and education. Life is short and it's important to take the time to realize how grateful we should be.
@fruityPond7887 Exactly! Gratitude is so important. It's what I was trying to convey. Thanks for sharing!
@comfortableNight4463 Thank you for posting!! I appreciate the reminder and ability to think and reflect💕
Hey @comfortableNight4463!
That's a really great post you have here!
I really agree with you that happiness perhaps may not be the end-goal of what we want. It's impossible to always be happy!
I think a good example is lately I've been feeling really good about myself. I don't feel great sense of happiness nor joy, I definitely have times when I go through hard times and struggle. But in general I can say I feel satisfied and go through each day knowing I did my best. I think that is contentness for me.
