@Kristynsmama
My week is going ok. I have the flu so I’m down quite a bit. I have been able to get a few things done in site of having the flu. My successes this week include: graduating from leadership development program with honors, finishing inner development goals course, and applying for the Quality Listener Academy Program. My challenges as always is my health. I want to do more than my body will allow me to do. This week I am grateful for some newfound fellow listener friends that I really connect with. And I’m grateful for my family and friends. I acknowledge myself and am proud of myself for NOT quitting the inner development goals course when it got hard and I thought I would be easier to just quit. Next week I want to work on taking more time for myself so that there’s balance between my personal life and my 7 cups life.
@Kristynsmama

- It has been fine and not too overwhelming.
- I got some important things done and showed up to the things I needed to. Some of those things, however, really drug me down. Specifically making phone calls.
- My mom. We’ve both been grieving dad and feeling big and confusing emotions and had a well needed cry together.
- For doing those aforementioned tasks.
- Better hygiene.
@gazemaze aww I'm so glad you have your mum to cry and smile with, grief is never a easy thing especially this time of year, please be kind to yourself, and remember we are all here for you ❤
Thank you
Something unexpected happened. Tragic and beyond my understanding. Our neighbour’s youthful, lively cat. Hit by a car. She was part of our lives, my cat’s beloved friend. She lived freely. Kind, free and assertive. I am so happy that we met her. I miss her already. I am getting disconnected gradually; another panic attack is just on the way I can feel it. I wish I could understand this better. She was here just yesterday so vivid and beautiful. I just want to believe we will see each other again. It feels so cruel right now, witnessing what happened is too much. So much love to all suffering friends.
@WavesandSea
im so incredibly sorry to hear about this precious furbaby that you loved so much. Losing a pet (even if it’s a neighbors pet) can definitely be overwhelming and can trigger a panic attack. I actually worked in a vet hospital until I went on medical leave and my absolute worst and most devastating experience was a 2 year beautiful healthy and thriving dog that was hit by a car and we were unable to save her. Hearing her owner wailing in the other room was the worst feeling in the world because there was nothing I could do to help her to feel better. The only thing I know is that time does heal all wounds even if it feels like it won’t.
@Kristynsmama Thank you so much for your reply and sharing what you have been through with me. I am always so appreciative to our health carers, such a tough work to do, they are being our rocks at that desperate moment. Birth and death, it is mostly unbearable to keep going with this cycle. Thanks for your support it means a lot.
