Finally Ordered My Dad’s Death Certificate…
It took me a REALLY long time to do it. Procrastination and not wanting to do such a morbid sounding thing, thinking it was a phone call which makes me nervous (it was online and only took a few minutes)…
It’s finally done.
Now I will finally find out what my dad died from… Now I wait. Mixed feelings atm… Proud of myself for getting my license today… But he will never know and be proud of me. Proud of myself for ordering the death certificate… But sad because… My daddy’s dead. :(
@jesusredeemedme2425 Well done on getting that step done. I hope the information you get isn't anything upsetting beyond him dying.
Hopefully knowing that he would be proud also helps you through the grieving process.
I get the feeling it may leave me with more questions than answers…

@jesusredeemedme2425 I didn't know your dad, but I have seen people have to do all the various things after someone dies. It's not easy. I'm proud of people for getting through it.
As for finding out the cause of death, it's certainly possible it leads to more questions.
