Greatest Fear

God used my greatest fear against me, abandonment.

The people in my life who I loved & cared about the most have either a.) died or b.) disappeared from my life .

How do you find closure when you don't have any answers surrounding their death or disappearance ?

I can't authentically participate in the five stages of grief bc I literally don't know what I'm grieving .

Did they die? Did they walk away? And if they walked away did they make that choice by themselves or did someone else make that choice for them?

How can so many people seem to know the answers except me?

@Resolutions101

hey resoultion it sounds so hard what you are going through. its so challenging when we dont have answers. grief can take many forms. I dont even think we all follow 5 neat stages of grief. greif is messy.

I never got to say goodbye to some people in my life, some things that i have done to find a small amount of relif, finding a way to honnor them, write letters, make a memory box, plant a tree, volunteer at a place they loved, finding ways to still include them like lighting a candle, tellign stories about them.

i hope you can be pateint with self, becuase what you going through sounds incredibley painful here with you <3

@Resolutions101 -- just seconding what @CaringEzra has said, and that I'm sorry to hear what a tough time you're going through.

Also, I recently learned that something called complicated grief exists, and I wonder whether all the uncertainty you're going through might qualify in the complicated category -- if you feel up to it, maybe an internet search for this might bring back some resources which might be of some help?

Hang in there.
