I have a question if anyone has lost a parent in here I recently I lost my dad my question is does this pain ever go away or are we supposed to just learn to live in pain?

As someone who has experienced alot of grief, honestly, it doesn't ever go away, it dims, and you find yourself living again, and then out of nowhere something offsets it!

It's because your dad was loved.

He's not replaceable.

And there is a big void in your life that cannot be filled.

It's not easy, but sadly something we all need to go through!

Hold onto the memories of your dad tight, keep him close in your heart and talk about him often!

Grief is different for everyone... losing a parent is hard i often felt i did not get enough out of the relationship that i could have ... dad died in accident when i was child.  

Remember them and different things like places/ or items may make you think of them..... sometimes it comes when you least expect it.   you may go long time with out the reminder they are gone all of that is Ok
