Grief and Loss Support Check-in

February 24 ~ March 3 2025

Hello, lovely grief and loss support community! Welcome to our weekly check-in.

How are we all doing? I hope that the week is being gentle to you and you find time to take care of yourselves. Some days are hard with grief. There are days when the pain is unbearable for just wishing that your person was here. To have a conversation, a hug, a cup of coffee. The longing feeling, as each day passes, each milestone missed. It's not easy. You are not alone in these moments. We are here to sit with you, to listen to your story, as many times as you want to share it. We will get through it together.  Whatever you are feeling, it's welcomed and valid here. I am always here for you and you are not alone. Please reach out if you need anything at all, You are loved and cared about truly. I wish you all an amazing week ahead. <3

@CaringEzra this is such a warm and thoughtful check-in!

for this week’s reflections:

Q. How are you doing? Highs? Lows?
Highs: Had a few moments of peace that felt lighter than usual.
Lows: Missing them hit a little harder at random moments.

Q. What do you miss most about your person?
I miss their presence the most. We had planned to go to the Eras Tour together somehow, or even to BTS concerts, so I sometimes think about that.

Q. What's your go-to comfort food when you need a pick-me-up?

My go-to comfort food is red kidney bean curry with rice (rajma chawal) or pizza.
