Letter to my Lost Safe Person
Oh Bri. Oh Bri. ... I don't know if I can do this one. I thought you would have longer. I thought we were going to fight with the essential oils. 😭 I didn't know i would only have you two more weeks. I can't do this. Oh SABRINA! YOU were my harbor as a child in Texas and my mother would beat me. I lost my harbor when I was 8 and my grandmother on my Dad's side died in CA. Then we moved to TX and it was you. Always you. I idolized you. Had you up on a tall pedestal that you never even lost your balance on once. You stood tall, my Viking Queen. I admired everything about you. I played violin so I could emulate you. We both loved horses madly and were tomboys. Climbing trees and catching crawdads and cicadas. When that huge jumping spider was jumping around in the hall on Holly Street and all six or eight of us kids were screaming and running around like ***, you were my Warrior Queen with your broom trying to take down the spider without hitting any of us! You always organized all of our plays... you always got to be Jo and me Meg everytime we did Little Women. The Halloween scary room with the weird stuff to touch. Woman, you were my everything. I cannot do this without you.
I am lost, broken and alone without you.

That was a beautiful tribute that you wrote for your loved one. I could tell that she was very significant in your life and I am sorry to hear that you lost her so suddenly. Take all the time you need to grieve and mourn her. We on 7cups are here for you during this bitter time.
