Loneliness

I’ve come to realize that life can feel quite meaningless to me if there’s no one to share it with. There was so much joy in doing things together. Happiness feels real when it’s shared.

@robishere sorry to hear about your loneliness.  Please try not to give in to fears of meaninglessness, every life has meaning & worth.  You can find happiness even spending time alone, so allow yourself to spend time doing the things which bring you relaxation & joy.

Even if you're feeling at a low ebb right now, things will turn around and you'll make new connections (or you can spend time re-visiting old ones, we all have old friends out there we've lost touch with, and they might be really glad to hear from you and reconnect.)

I find it helpful when I'm feeling low to reach out to others in a similar position on here and other sites.  Offering my support to others who are suffering makes me feel less alone (and hopefully I'm helping others, too).  So do keep posting here, and add replies to other peoples' posts when you feel you can -- and I also recommend taking part in the sharing circles etc from time to time, if you haven't already, as they've been helpful to me.

Hang in there.

@robishere

sits with you, you are not alone, have you found your people to share time with or are you still on the search?
