Possible Grief Coming
If you remember, I had a post last year about inviting a long-time family friend over for BBQ. In the past few months or so, we learned through the eldest son, that his dad's health suddenly deteriorated. He became very skinny and lost all his energy. We told the son to tell his dad to check himself into to the Emergency to get things checked, as his family doctor have ignored him. So, last week, he finally went to get a biopsy, and while in Emergency, they referred him to an Oncologist. Let's just say, things aren't looking well. It's most likely cancer in the lumbar system. Depending on how fast it spreads to other parts of the body, we all don't have a good feeling about it. If something happens to this uncle, auntie will be devastated. Losing family members to cancer, Auntie herself, is a survivor decades ago. First losing their eldest daughter 10+ years ago, and now the possibility of losing her husband.. I can't imagine the kind of grief and impact it will have on her.
Just as I mentioned in the post last year about the BBQ. I haven't even gotten over losing their daughter, and now the father is not doing well.. I don't really know how to digest all of this, if something bad does happen to him.
@Jaeteuk 😥 it's such a heartbreak thing for anyone to have to go through. I'm so sorry that this is the situation you are dealing with right now 😟 you feel so helpless just waiting on the side lines, not being able to help. The only thing you can do is offer love and understanding, whilst taking time to process all of this in your own way too. Please know I'm right here for you ❤ we all are ❤hugs you tightly ❤ I'll keep you all in my prayers ❤
