Recently lost my brother and am very sad and angry

Hello, my brother (16) passed a week ago and I am having a hard time processing his death, he committed suicide and I'm dealing with the feelings of

Anger, towards my mom, who allowed him to keep a gun in his room, while also being an alcoholic ongoing for several years. Same mother who kicked me out of the house for not allowing her to hit him

Guilt, for being the oldest sibling and working away from home, while not keeping in touch on a regular basis. Also feeling like I wish I could have left so he could be here

Sadness, in regards to missing my brother who was such an amazing, athletic, smart, and caring young man. Also for my daughter who is bound to not seeing playing or being apart of her favorite uncles life

And lonelyness, as I lost my temper on my girlfriend the night before the funeral we were staying together and now she's back home and I'm on the road alone and dealing with all of these feelings. She's supposed to come back next week but a part of me thinks I messed up to bad for her to love me even though she always she does and promises to be back. Just so you know I did not physically harm her in any way.

I am so lost alone and depressed now wondering where to put all the feelings of this I just signed up for this therapy and am hoping to find some answers and healing along the journey

hey. grief is..messy at times. things come out the way we didn’t intend. feelings bottle up until that bottle bursts and the worst part? life continues around us because at the end of the day, life moves on. your feelings are completely valid and it will get better. i know you prob don’t want to hear this a lot, i didn’t when i was going through my own version of grief last month, but it does get better. maybe it was faster for me than for u since we weren’t super close, but i know if my brother died i would have died a little bit inside. it gets better, than gets worse, then gets better again, because grief is like a wave. one day it’s 10m tall and drowns you for an hour, but one month later it’s 8m tall and drowns you for only a few minutes. it’s weird, it’s messy, it’s different for each of us. stay safe out there🫶🫶im so so sorry for your loss. stay strong
