The Reaper part 2
Yesterday, after trying to process yet another loss, I created a post titled The Reaper where I shared some things about my life, hoping to elicit some discussion and hoping to be able to talk about losing my stepdad Friday.
I wasn't really very surprised to see that only 1 individual even bothered. I'm thinking that if this community is somehow supposed to be therapeutic and helpful to some degree, then responding to and commenting on posts would be important. Apparently not.
So thank you 7Cups members for being so dismissive towards someone in need. If your purpose is to uplift, you have failed.

I am.so sorry for your loss and to hear that your step dad passed away. Sending you my thoughts, prayers and condolences. If it helps you to talk about him and to share any memories you have of him or describe the type of person he was, I'm happy to listen, but if not, I genuinely am just thinking of you and sorry for what you are going through 💕💜
Hey umm thank you. I've seen that you have noticed. I'm grateful for you.
I've had to rely on this site in times of emotional need. I guess it's more aimed towards younger people.
