The last 5 days have been life altering
On Thursday my Grandmother passed. This put me back in contact with my no contact father. Which brought up a lot of childhood trauma.
On Sunday my partner of almost 4 years ended our relationship out of the blue. Things were overall wonderful. We had so much love and laughter in our lives. But she just didn’t have the time or energy to put in the work to work on her communication issues. I was out of her apartment in 8 hours (she left and didn’t come back and we haven’t spoken)
I went to a friends house for some care and love. And their cat bit me. They got me real food. And of course. It’s infected. Luckily I went to the doctor quick and got some antibiotics but dang
This has been one of the hardest weeks I’ve had in years.
@WolfbxyI'm really sorry you're going through all of this at once. That’s an overwhelming amount of emotional pain, grief, and disruption to process in such a short time. Losing your grandmother, being unexpectedly reconnected with someone tied to deep trauma, and the sudden end of a loving relationship—each of those alone would be a lot. Then, to top it off, a literal wound while seeking comfort? That’s beyond rough.
Please know: none of this takes away from your strength. The fact that you're still standing, still reaching out, still taking care of yourself (like going to the doctor right away)—that matters. It shows you're fighting for yourself even in the chaos.
Give yourself space to grieve, to be angry, to be confused—whatever you're feeling is valid. And please don’t go through this alone. Talk to someone you trust, a therapist, or even just journal it all out if that feels safer.
If you want help making sense of any of it—or just need a space to breathe and be heard—I’m here for that. You don’t have to carry it all in silence.
Thank you so much for this wonderful message, got the water works going all over again
The variety of emotions swirling through me has been crazy and intense.
I luckily have a couple really solid people around me. And I’m doing my best to push through
Thank you @empathicNatural7436
@WolfbxyYou’re so welcome. 💛 I’m really glad it resonated with you, and it’s completely okay to let those tears flow—it means you’re processing, not breaking. These kinds of emotions are heavy because the decision is meaningful. I’m so glad you have solid people around you, and even more proud that you’re showing up for yourself in the middle of all of this. Keep trusting your inner voice. You are not alone, and you’re doing better than you think. One step at a time. 💫
@Wolfbxy
aww 🥹 this does sound super challenging.
The cat scratch will heal. Trust your body and let it do its job. ❤️
I feel like you need to focus on yourself right now. Put that heart back together and ask yourself “what do I need?” If it’s a yummy snack, or just tears. Let it out sweetie.
Self care is of importance at this moment. Hugs to you. It hurts but you will get through it and things will get better ❤️🩹
