Let’s say hypothetically my father call me on my mother’s phone saying my mom passed away how would I deal with that?

How would you deal with being told that news in another way? I have heard of others using a phone to call like a emergency response person etc that might tell someone a loved one is injured or passed
would there be a reason for your father to use her phone? does he not have one or does he not have your # ?

No he has his own with my number in it that is why I was confused when he called on my mother’s phone.
