i'm in foster care cus my dad is too sick to take care of me
todays my birthday . we're gonna call...but its just not the same . i want my dad. hes a single dad raising me and my 8 yo little brother , but he's had to stay in the hospital for a month , my mom died when my brother was born ... so its just been dad . i'm 13 .....i just want things to go back to normal.

@cyanJet1576 I hope your father feels better soon. Change can be very difficult to adjust to, so allow yourself that time and space to adjust. I wish you a lovely Birthday and I'm sure your Dad would absolutely love to be there with you celebrating it if he only had that option. He loves you, never forget that. Even if you're currently apart you'll always be family and in each others hearts.

Im sorry your dad is sick and is unable to care for you. That is a big change for you and your brother. It must feel overwhelming and I’m sure your brother and you are feeling scared.
