what’s a good memory you’ve had of a former loved one?
i’ll start, this one is dedicated to my best friend who unfortunately lost his battle to depression. his name was Parker. he was a sweet and caring kid. never got in trouble and was always out and about. me and him were inseparable and we loved each other like family. there was one time where we went to buy sparkling apple cider and open it by the water. i had a hard time opening it and then he took the bottle and tried to open it with his tooth, which was one of his weird quirks. he chipped it a little bit but we just laughed about it we opened it on the bench and it went all over us and we called it an cider storm. soon after it started raining and we were soaked running home. still makes me smile to this day.
@HighlyAce Awwwww, thank you so much for sharing that sweet, precious memory of you and Parker. He sounds like he was a phenomenal friend, a wonderful sweet, funny, caring person. How blessed you are to have someone like him in your life and how blessed he was to have you. Thank you so much for sharing about this. I know sometimes it is hard to talk about moments with loved ones who may no longer be here, but I am so proud of your for being strong enough to do so. I hope this memory is one that will get you through all your toughest days. One that will forever make you smile and laugh when you need a pick me up. Parker will always live on this way.
