Recovering from grief

Grief is a heavy topic but one we can not avoid. Almost everyone has either experienced grief or will experience grief in their life. Yet we rarely have an idea of how to console someone who is experiencing grief or how to help ourselves if that day comes.

What do you think is the first step towards recovering from grief, does such a thing happens?

I believe a healthy first step with grief, is accepting that you sometimes cannot change the circusmstance at hand.

Hello,

I think grief is something you never recover from, you just manage. I myself have been experiencing my own grief for the past 3 years after experiencing 2 losses within 7mos of each other. It never gets easier, some days are just worse than others.

@Hope The first step is to be hopeful in life. If we have gone through losses, don't grief., we must accept it and believe situations will be better in future. The best to follow soon. It is all about positive thinking. The more positive we are in life, the easier it is to accept our present, value what we have today instead of thinking of our losses in life. Life is full of ups and downs. The best still awaits us
