Wellness Accountability Huddles: Week 4 Friday Checkin Questions (April 17)

Happy Friday, Huddle! We have officially completed Week 4. We are now entering the final turn of our 5-week journey. This week, we took a deep look at Managing Setbacks. We’ve stopped looking at failures as ends and started looking at them as data points.

Here's the questions to reflect on:

  1. On a scale of 1–10, how do you feel you did this week? OR For those with daily/maintenance goals, how are you feeling about your progress right now?
  2. 1 Win: A moment where you successfully pushed through a setback or adjusted your plan on the fly.
  3. 1 Final Pivot: With only one week left, is there one small adjustment you’re making to your goal to ensure you finish strong?
  4. Setbacks often happen over the weekend when our routines shift. To prevent a weekend slide before our final week, let’s be proactive: What is one thing you can do on Saturday or Sunday that will make your Monday self thank you?

  • Remember that the Huddle room is open 2/47 and runs asynchronously. Be sure to check into the Huddle room at least 3 days a week to share progress updates, and make an effort to interact with each other, and rock that group accountability!

  • The Huddle structure primarily provides asynchronous support via chat, but we can have as many "live" sessions as we'd like. I'm looking for volunteers to bring more live sessions to our Huddle! Any days and times, whatever is convenient for you! PM me for the details!

  1. On a scale of 1–10, how do you feel you did this week? OR For those with daily/maintenance goals, how are you feeling about your progress right now? Im feeling ok though I had a major setback with turning my ankle.
  2. 1 Win: A moment where you successfully pushed through a setback or adjusted your plan on the fly. I sent a manuscript out even though it didnt feel perfect to me.
  3. 1 Final Pivot: With only one week left, is there one small adjustment you’re making to your goal to ensure you finish strong? I will continue to rest my ankle until Im ready to get back to full strength on my exercise program.
  4. Setbacks often happen over the weekend when our routines shift. To prevent a weekend slide before our final week, let’s be proactive: What is one thing you can do on Saturday or Sunday that will make your Monday self thank you? I will continue to rest my ankle, but am increasing weight/exercise on it, doing light stretches, etc., hoping to get back to regular routine soon.

@Heather225 I feel good I love my progress and I’m feeling great

I successfully pushed through my setback when I felt like I wasn’t achieving my goal as counselor but I adjusted and started thinking positive about everything and my plan was to fly on to better things and make sure that I had everything together as planned for my counseling sessions.

I am learning to be a better person and learning to listen to my patients and students and to finish strong as a listener on 7 cups as well.

I can write everything down on my agenda and did my laundry and cleaned my vanity and Monday I will be working on myself care and writing goals down as well.

about a 6 this week ending just was a  lot going on this week

1 Win: A moment where you successfully pushed through a setback or adjusted your plan on the fly.
that we had bought healthy snacks that helped us a lot as when could not cook we had them  to eat not junk food

1 Final Pivot: With only one week left, is there one small adjustment you’re making to your goal to ensure you finish strong?
we decided to just allow self to be also to have more inside help with things we do on outside

Setbacks often happen over the weekend when our routines shift. To prevent a weekend slide before our final week, let’s be proactive: What is one thing you can do on Saturday or Sunday that will make your Monday self thank you?
this may sound bad but we hate routines so we not have one at all think this due to childhood things pushed on us so for this weekend the goal is self care and rest due to the busy week we had with medical appointments then  being sick due to nuclear  test we had on kidneys

  1. On a scale of 1–10, how do you feel you did this week?

    Ans: I feel like I did 7.5!

  2. 1 Win: A moment where you successfully pushed through a setback or adjusted your plan on the fly.

Ans: I did not let partial success deter me, I didnt feel like giving up even though certain plans didnt go 100 percent as I wanted it to.

3.  Final Pivot: With only one week left, is there one small adjustment you’re making to your goal to ensure you finish strong?

Ans: I'm being more mindful and intentional about what I do.

4. Setbacks often happen over the weekend when our routines shift. To prevent a weekend slide before our final week, let’s be proactive: What is one thing you can do on Saturday or Sunday that will make your Monday self thank you?

Ans: make things easier for the coming week by completing all important chores, scheduling tasks and a routine for the upcoming week.

  1. On a scale of 1–10, how do you feel you did this week? OR For those with daily/maintenance goals, how are you feeling about your progress right now? 7.5 consistency is needed - social etiquette is applied in practice - I notice my tone is softer and reading book aloud has helped and I did not rush past people in queues able to give way (although I did find it very uncomfortable on the day). Small talk felt better.
  2. 1 Win: A moment where you successfully pushed through a setback or adjusted your plan on the fly. To energise the mind I did a wall press up and this helped stimulate newer ideas in written work, applications
  3. 1 Final Pivot: With only one week left, is there one small adjustment you’re making to your goal to ensure you finish strong? Continue to eat wheatabix and wake up early - let’s go!
  4. Setbacks often happen over the weekend when our routines shift. To prevent a weekend slide before our final week, let’s be proactive: What is one thing you can do on Saturday or Sunday that will make your Monday self thank you?

I re-read old applications that were well-presented and use this as a template for future stuff. My Monday self will  say thank you and will try out again using einsenhower matrix.
