35 and over room - again

January 5th, 2017

The 35+ room is just as awful as it's always been. The focus of that room is anything but for what that room was originally intended - a place where older members of this community can go for support.

Lip service was given to making some improvement, but there has been none.

Agree to disagree. Halogen has dedicated much time to keeping the Room supporitive, in the spirit of its intended purpose. When someone asks for support... members have been quick to respond. Most Chats have been running rather smoothly (imo)

Hey there. :) I am sorry to hear that this is how you feel and I understand where you are coming. It can be difficult for someone who is 35 and older to get support if we have younger people going there to discuss things that could be discussed in the other rooms. For the most part @Halogen has always been there trying to keep the room supportive and sometimes I come but I can't exactly tell someone to leave if they're not being unsupportive because I have no idea how old everyone is. Maybe you could make a suggestion in the member box to have a side for older adults to be like older adults section, sort of like there's a teen side and no adult is allowed in there unless they're an adult-teen listener. Don't know if this could be implemented, but your problem is that there are younger people in the room or that older people aren't getting attention?
