Keep disability room a 24/7 room
The disability room is one of the safest room in this community. It's used and needed by the disability community for genuine support. Regular members are role models of how to support each other.
I'm proud of this community and I officialy protest against this decision.
I'm pretty upset nobody discussed the decision with the community and it feels like a slap in the face.

Keep Disability Support Room open 24/7

Those who know me know I am as mild-manneered as they come. But not keeping Disability Support open 24.7 is stupidity itself. This community has been threatened by the site multiple times over the past few years. I know, I've been there. Last time around we were assured by @Lara through @justhere2listen that the room was SAFE from closing. And no, claiming that the room is not closing because it will be a pop up room is not a valid argument, it's at most a frivolous attempt at useless compromise. It's deceitful. We have no use for a pop up room when the community comes from all over the world. And when for many of us, the only link to the outside world when disability hits the hardest is a little chatroom.
We mostly monitor ourselves, support each other the way no other room does. We have survived worse crisis. Will the room survive another? We'll see if the powers that be remember to KEEP THEIR PROMISES to the members who have stayed loyal to this site for many years. If not, shame on you, yes, shame on you.
To fellow members, I am sorry they are doing this to us. We all deserve better.

@kindSoul10 hi I'm Just and was here when the room was closed the last time for 2weeks and fortunately we did get it back, However I have been gone for awhile due to medical issues and I have been on and off intermittently. I Do still believe this community in general is one of the most important to keep open 24/7 disability does Not stop n start on command and niether should this support room..for some people It Is Still All That Keeps Them Alive!!!!!THEY DO NOT FEEL ALONE EVEN IF THEY ARE TALKING TO JUST 1 PERSON HALF A WORLD AWAY ITS INPERITIVE!!!!!
