Moderators Not Allowing People of Color to Discuss Specific Issues in Open Chat
This morning I had an unpleasant run-in with a moderator from the anxiety forum who deleted my comment after I was telling a story about reporting a rapist earlier today. The rapist was specficially targeting black women because he had a "master-slave" fetish. As a person of color having that part of my story censored was both disheartening and incredibly offensive. The moderator claimed that she deleted it because it was "triggering" but let's not go down that path as everyone will find something triggering. There was no profanity used in this post. It simply said that the rapist I reported targeted black girls because he had a master slave fetish. If I can't talk about that without being censored then that opens up a very awful racial dynamic and 7Cups, and no one wants to do that.

Just relocated your post in the General Entries section :)
They do that when anyone mentions rape.
@Phthalo
for good reason too

I am with you 100%, as you say anything and everything can be triggering to someone. I was molested as a kid, halfway grabbed off the street by a pedophile, was assaulted in the train station and flung down a flight of stairs, am a binge eater, have OCD, depression, former cutter, etc. All of those things can trigger, so if we can not speak freely of our experiences, none of us will be able to say anything at all. Sheesh.
