Pop-Up Gratitude & Self-Reflection Discussions
Hello Mods!
I wanted to give you all a new trick to keep up your sleeve! It comes in the form of scripts for pop-up discussions (learn more about pop-up discussions here). The topics I have prepared scripts for are Gratitude and Self-Reflection - both of which can really help to improve a person's sense of wellbeing - pretty awesome, right? :)
These topics are closely tied to the member Growth Path. However, it can sometimes be hard to find motivation to do the Growth Path exercises alone, and sometimes things are just easier and more fun to do with friends! This is where the support room pop-up discussions come in.....
These will be a super useful tool for Group Mods to keep handy. Not only are these helpful topics for members, but they also function as a great way to move the conversation in a positive and productive way. Win win!! :)
How do I lead a pop-up discussion? (it's really easy)
Step 1: Go to tockify and double check that nothing is happening in the room you want to lead in.
Step 2: Open this document and choose whether you'd like to lead a pop-up discussion on Gratitude or Self-Reflection (these can be repeated as often as we like - the members bring their own content, so they'll always be different!)
Step 2: Go to the room & press start discussion. Put the time as 15 or 30 minutes!
Step 3: Lead away!
How do I earn badges for my discussions?
This sounds awesome!
Yay! These sound amazing!! What a great tool to help grow our members!! I'm totally keen to run one soooon!
If you lead one, please post here to let us all know how it goes! Excited about these. :D I'll be leading some too!
I led one earlier in the ds support room with the amazing @SunshineCat the room was being heavily trolled and hit pretty hard using the pop up discussion option we led the discussion got many people involved and it made it much easier for us to mod those who were trolling whilst keeping the room positive
2 pop ups so far can't wait to do my next one!!!
@Kallie112358 Loved you leading the discussion on Gratitude. Great suggestion!!
