When to use the moderator form in the chatrooms

I have seen that a lot of people misuse the emergency moderator form so I was hoping to remind you guys what it's for and provide some other resources which may suit your needs better.

What is the moderator form?

The form is used when there is no moderator currently in the room and something is happening in the chat room which needs to be moderated. The form can be found at the bottom of the chat room rules.

When should I use the form?

Filling it in notifies other moderators of something going on, so they can join the room to calm the issue. That is the only time it should be used.

When shouldn't I use the form?

- To provide moderator feedback.

- To compain about the moderator community.

You can e-mail 7 Cups at community@7cups.com to make a complaint.

- To create fictitious reports to get another member punished.

You can mute a user who is bothering you in the chatrooms.

- To complain about 7 Cups.

You can e-mail 7 Cups at community@7cups.com to make a complaint.

You should also avoid adding letters or punctuations to make your report more noticeable. This only slows down the process and has absolutely no effect on getting your message seen quicker.
