Introduction: Member Chat Rooms Feedback Form
Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing well.
We are introducing a feedback form for the member chat rooms based on a group chat room meeting on the adult side as well as a quick 1-1 chat with @richuyulin as of April 19, 2021. The credit of the idea goes to @richuyulin.
Whether it is a positive experience, a suggestion to improve, any thoughts, ideas, feedback, or anything in between related to member chat rooms. We invite you to share your thoughts and inputs with us. We would be glad to hear from you.
Click here for the feedback form
Please know this is a feedback form for the member chat rooms and not reporting form. To report any incidents, please use the relevant form. You can find the information about report forms here: https://tinyurl.com/z62b9sxs Your help to report any incidents or behavior also will be much appreciated. It will help us to keep the chat rooms safe for all.
We are looking forward to reading all of your feedback. Thank you for being here with us. Please know you are part of this community and the group support chatrooms. Please join us to seek and provide support to each other. You are all in this together.
@ASilentObserver
I'm confused by the new feedback form. Our team, and several others I believe, already use a feedback for specifically created for there team in which member feedback is added to the team dashboard for quality tracking purposes. It also helps the leaders on the team see if there are any trends and feedback a member might want to share with each individual team, including suggestions for future discussions and thoughts about specific questions related to discussion scripts. For leaders, these can be very powerful in terms of quality and relations with our member participants. To add an additional feedback form would be confusing to members who are using team created feedback forms to measure quality. Speaking only for the family and caregivers team, I know that ambassadors and administrators have access to our team dashboard which includes asscess to feedback and statistics generated from that feedback. Why is there a need for another form? Who would have access to the feedback shared with this new link assuming this would create a central location for feedback?
Hi @PeaceLoveandPaws,
I agree that some clarification around the points you brought up in terms of when to use which form. Initially, the idea came from addressing the fact that many members are providing feedback about newbie hub rooms (specifically MCR and SR) through PMing mods who are active in those rooms. So creating a form like this would allow for a clearer and more consistent way for admins to see those feedback.
@ASilentObserver, please correct me if I'm wrong. I think this form is mostly directed at rooms without their own feedback form for such feedback. And possibly at members who may be unaware of specific team feedback forms. If there's a specific team feedback form in place already, members should be encouraged to use that.
@ASilentObserver im loving this site but i had a listener i was comtrable with but she turned 18 and i cant talk with her anymore and i have difficulty talking abt my issues with new people and i dont wanna start over i think it would be cool if you could talk to someone 18+ if you started why they were still 17-
@unassumingSpruce9514 Thank you for your feedback Spruce. I hear you and understand how it matters. I will pass your feedback to the team and discuss it to see what we could do to make it better. We appreciate you.
Also, please know you are not alone and you can also join group support chatrooms and forums as well to participate and get all support you needed. We are all here with you
@ASilentObserver Members should be able to use this form whether or not they choose to have a listener account too! Why ask for a listener username as a required field?
@AffyAvo
It seems the username is now optional instead.
