 In this post I will say What should. You not do  and what you should do..

1 do not do ableism statements , defend one’s self , saying I think u are blank, you should try to  not pay attention to those statements. Those types of thing would make the person with disability feel judged, not understood and it could  lead too the person to get frustrated and lash out.

what You can do

 treat  them with respect and  do not talk to them like they a baby but talk to this like other people. Ask what the best way to talk to them.

2 it best if you know something might trigger them  it would best to avoid doing it so the room stays calm. If you need a break from the room it’s always okey take break if start to annoyed by the person with a disability.

question to think about.

 How to do think that not doing these certain things would be helpful for culture in room. Long term?

@Magicpawsoffuture

Thank you for this.

It's vital

As sometimes when we don't know what a member is going through or has been through, on group settings where messages are all we have, it can be easy to say the wrong thing 🩷
