Introduction to Mod Challenges- Quarter III, 2021

Hello Mod Squad,

Congratulations to all for participating in the Mod Challenges of Quarter 2. I hope you all enjoyed the participation as much as I did. As we entered the new quarter, it is time for the new challenges to participate in. Before we do the drum roll for the new challenge, I want to share three things with you!

• The goal of these challenges is to collaborate, engage, connect and learn and grow together as a mod team and community.
• If you have feedback for any challenges, positive or constructive, please do share with me because these challenges are for us and if we do not enjoy while participating in them, there is no point in that challenge.
• If you have any ideas that we could use as a challenge, please do share them and let me know. Your help will be much appreciated.

Introducing..... Open Chat Challenge

• The goal of this challenge is to encourage people to speak out. We challenge you to lead as many pops up chats encouraging members to talk and share. It does not need to be on mental health or mental health stigma but if it is, it would be wonderful.
• As a community-centered moderator, you can lead these open chats in your focused chat rooms.
• While, as a global mod, you could lead 1 open chat in at least three different chat rooms.
• All open chats only last for 30 minutes.
• Please set a banner during your open chat session
• Here is the Open Chat Log, that you could fill to record your participation: https://tinyurl.com/7thup48a For every 30 minutes session, gets 50 cheers as a small token of gratitude on behalf of the community.
• This challenge will be for the next 2 weeks and after two weeks a new challenge will be posted.
• And, most importantly, be yourself and have an enjoyable and supportive session

Point to note:

• As quarter III started, all these challenges participation will be considered for the selection of our next three award-winning mods at the end of the quarter along with the general criteria of an award-winning mod.
