Sharing Circle, to me, means a small section of the community coming together during different intervals of the day to support one another. It's a place of empowerment, validation, venting, and overall compassion. I believe that the Sharing Circle sessions are a great way to get involved when you're first starting off in the member chatrooms, as both as a listener and a member.
@Lou73 thank you for sharing this, and thank you Dani ❤️this is absolutely lovely❤️

Sharing circles for me are like a friends union from highschool😄 We don't remember everyone, we don't know everyone... But still we always feel happy to attend them and talk to everyone🌻 Even in sharing circles, we might know some, we might not remember some, we might see some people for the first time, but still it never feels strange or foreign 😄 The sharing circle rooms are always welcome for everyone and treats everyone equally🌻 and people don't just share stories here, they share a small piece of their life with us! They share their happiness, their sadness, their struggles... It feels so good to know that I know a bit more about a listener/member! It just makes our hearts warm😄
I love participating in listener sharing rooms, to know about everyone's journey on 7 cups, the way they started, their initial struggles, their mistakes, them getting friends, them getting support from the community, them working hard, applying for roles, getting the roles.... It just makes me feel positive and motivated😄🌻 Makes my heart warm every single time😇
The member sharing rooms are the best on 7 cups as it is open 24/7🌻 I feel like it's sooo helpful for those who are having trouble to open up to one particular person, or those who want to share to more than one person, or those who just want to share without listening to others words, or those who want to share anytimee!😄🌻
I always look forward to join the sharing circles xD
And a biggggg Thank you for alll those listeners who find time even during their busy schedules to host these beautiful sharing circles🌻 You're really appreciated for all the hardwork you do and support you provide people🌻 Thank you so much for always trying to do best and always spreading kindness around🌻 Keep shining and keep spreading warmth😄🌻

@Lou73
Just now noticed that I wrote 'union' in place of 'reunion' xD.... Thank you so much for still understanding what I was tryna say Lou hehe💙😄
@Lou73
It's a metaphorical circle of people coming by to share about their experiences and circumstances, both old and new, both positive and negative and everything else in between. Some people find writing or typing down their thoughts just for them works well, but me, I like more exchange of communication and feedback immediately.
I cannot always reach out to free help lines in my country, because what I have to say isn't always urgent to them and that kinda sucks - sharing circle is a happy medium between a help line and just talking to someone who may or may not be open relate to you in some manner. Even if I am not in an emergency or feeling particularly upset, I still think it's important and a good idea to get your thoughts out there anyway.
Sometimes, what I end up actually saying can wildly differ from what I had intended to say initially. It is a good way to further and more frequently figure out what is bothering me and then effectively figure out how and why to take a certain approach to the issue. Thank you for providing it to us all 'round the clock, I really appreciate that 7Cups has a group chat such as this. 😛 Drump!
@Lou73
the sharing circle has helped come out of isolation that i experienced with Covid-19 😊
@Lou73
I have not attended any sessions in about a few days to a week..I've been quite busy, sorry. 😛 I never hung around the group chats frequently at all in 3 years. This year, my fourth, is different though. I am proud to be a room supporter in the sharing circle, as well as the newbie hub sub-community as a whole. It had provided me with a new way to listen and support others and maintain order.
Hey, i'd love to go wildin' too, but I'm a listener and I've got quite an important role here! I will keep the chaos to a minimum, heh. 😊
I have gone to the sharing circle a few times and always feel like a bystander. I have never spoken as there is already plenty of people already doing it and i feel like i am intruding on them.
@Lou73 When I first found out Sharing Circles were based on Indigenous People's Sharing Circles of passing a "talking stick" around the council circle, the idea became even more intriguing to me. The fact of each person having within them a bit of the community wisdom is what I feel when the sharing circles are going. The fact that people arrive from all corners of the planet to be together in a community of caring is a bit mind blowing to me, like, how is that even possible? But yet, everyday, people here prove the naysayers wrong and continue to get up, get into the circle, share, and then go on with our lives. It's just fascinating!
@Lou73 The sharing circle is so therapeutic and a non judgemental place where you can take everything out and have the chance to see things from a different perspective once you do. Ot is very important for both listeners and members. Thank you for the post!
