Congratulations! Group Support Reviews up to September 27, 2020

Group support is such an important part of the 7 Cups site. It helps us feel heard and understood by many people at once. To create a positive and supportive environment requires work from every single one of us, whether we are a member, listener, room supporter or group moderator. Thank you to everyone for helping us build the community! These are shoutouts submitted for some people who have been amazing! Room Supporters & Listeners

@Textingpals- Pals was friendly and interesting to talk to. I was nervous about chatting in a group for the first time with so many people but pals calmed my nervous self and created a welcoming environment with their jokes and inviting nature. They make the chat feel light with their humor and quick thinking. I am glad to have met as they are cool and respectable at the same time.

@DayDreamWithYou- Dream is very nice as she has been very kind to me and very sweet <3

Moderators

@tyedyedbutterfly65- She's an amazing person and moderator who welcomes everyone and is very authentic and outgoing. It's always a joy when she's around because she helps brighten the room and validates all who enter.

@SuryanshSingh- They are really very supportive and the way they welcome is extremely appreciable. They say " Hi There !! Welcome to Teen Support " and they take username too in their greeting, that is so appreciable. Once some of them started a bit of fighting and how smartly and politely they handled them was literally amazing. Their behaviour was really loving and awesome.

@Aleks2- Aleks is always very welcoming to members and listeners in the sharing circle. After a share the reflection and empathy is amazing with every share. I have learned a lot from him and strive to be more like him with each circle I host. Amazing team member.

@SoulSings- He is simply a source of good advice for me as a listener. Gently directs and shows great respect. Soul is compassionate and attentive and always helpful and encouraging.

@PeaceLoveandPaws- Thank you for your discussions and messages of kindness and support, they were/are influential (:

@CommunityModJennie- Jennie is honestly a blessing to 7Cups. She has helped me so much with my growth on 7Cups and as a young person ever since I first joined 7Cups back in March 2019. I have grown from someone who barely wanted to speak to someone who is independently hosting sessions. And it is all because of the encouragement, support and respect that Jennie has given to me. Thank you so much for everything. I would never have been able to take up these opportunities if it wasn't for you.

@CommunityModAlex- Mod Alex has been consistently supportive and very kind. Being a regular member on here for past 2 yrs, I rarely come across a very bad situation during his shift. He always keeps his calm and deals with the situation in most patient way. He has always been very responsive and active on the rooms at all the times. Personally, He has been a pillar of support for me from day one. I would really like to take this opportunity to appreciate him for doing his duties in very kind and unbiased manner! Thanks for your excellent modding Alex!

@CommunityModMae- I love Mae. Very kind and understanding

@CommunityModMae (again!)- She helped me out SO MUCH hosting the member sharing circle. She was priceless! <3 <3

@lonelyshredder- Hey Shredder, I was in the group sharing circle with you this evening. I know things seemed a little hectic as you were sharing, so just wanted to remind you that you are only human. As someone who also struggles with mental illness, I know it can be a tough and ugly thing to deal with. Choosing to work and better yourself to prove to your ex that you want to be better is an excellent step to take! Time truly heals things in more ways than you can imagine. You'll look back on this and laugh because of how happy and stronger you will be down the road. I believe in your aspiration to change and not let your mental health define you. You are allowed to make mistakes, and it's important to learn and move on from them. Don't let them constantly wear you down. You are strong and a good person. Don't let your mental health convince you otherwise. Sending hugs and love. Take care ??

@KaylaDances- Hey Kayla. I'm leaving this appreciation because you motivate me a lot. At times, I don't act on my problems and just cry. You just seem like a very strong person. I've observed many things which you deal with. Dealing with family stress is no fun! I've felt suicidal lately and I think about you. How strong you are. That motivates me. I feel like I should be as strong as Kayla and that motivates me a lot. Stay Strong ?

@Kimmkimm- Really liked seeing them help some others ease down from a panic attack in the support room. They really showed what it means to be an amazing member of the 7 Cups community.

@Danny0- We all love and appreciate you for going above and beyond in the group support chats, stepping up to take initiative in discussions hosting and making sure everyone feels welcome with your long, thoughtful responses.
