Hi,

We're in the last month of the year 2020. I think we're all about ready to bid farewell to 2020 and welcome 2021 on a positive note. But, before that, I like us to do a quick reflection and check-in together.

Please share your reflections on how you see 2020 and what are you looking forward to in 2021? Also, what is one wish you have for 7Cups in 2021?

I'll go first!

Undoubtedly 2020 was a challenging year for all of us. It wasn't easy for anyone. But when I see 2020, I believe it reminded us to appreciate everything we have. It reminded us a little support goes a long way. Every day, we supported and encouraged each other regardless of the roles and goals we have. It was beautiful. It reminded us that how everyone is a courageous soul and positivity helps us keep going.

In 2021, I hope we all progress and grow together. And, for 7Cups, I wish we could become better and stronger to provide all support across the platform collectively.

*Passes mic to you*

2020 has been gruesome for me and many other lives in this sudden twist of fate. Even though we're all struggling with something health is important and I hope in 2021 people's health improves. Good luck. heart

I choose to look at 2020 as a testament to perserverence, i'm sure many of us have either done or have had to face things we're not thrilled about in the past 1, 2 5 10 years, yet we continue on, and also think about how many doomsday prophecies we have survived, Y2K, 2012, The Rapture, the list extends well beyond that. I think we were meant to continue on, for whatever point we decide its worth.

2020.. has been like one big rollercoaster, of emotions, fear, unknown and change. No one a year ago could have predicted what 2020 could have brought. It has been a hard year for everyone, there have been losses, not just of people; jobs, the normal way we used to live, our freedom. But something it has not taken away, is the way we can support eachother. It has brought everyone, from all over the world together - as it is something we are all experiencing! It has been a year that has taught us is to be thankful for all the little things!

My hope for 2021 is that we can all stay connected in the way we have this year. I hope we can all continue to find reasons to be grateful and thankful. This goes for the real world and on 7 cups. I hope everyone continues to grow on 7 cups!

2020 was awful. I had just started a job and was learning the ropes. I had a lot of attention and support from my boss and was gearing up to take on more. Then a longtime employee and friend died, and my boss had to focus on that gap instead of working with me. This was complicated by additional feelings I developed (which I'm not ready to discuss right now. Then COVID hit, and I became completely disconncted from everyone. I had a hard time getting the help I needed, I felt isolated and overlooked and there ws nothing to do so there was no way to get my mind off of work. I have good periods but right now I'm coming out of a bad one. I hope 2021 is better and I have an opportunity to set my relationships and get the time I need to be a better employee. It's really hard feeling like an afterthought all the time.
