Who is ready for 2021?

Hi,

We're in the last month of the year 2020. I think we're all about ready to bid farewell to 2020 and welcome 2021 on a positive note. But, before that, I like us to do a quick reflection and check-in together.

Please share your reflections on how you see 2020 and what are you looking forward to in 2021? Also, what is one wish you have for 7Cups in 2021?

I'll go first!

Undoubtedly 2020 was a challenging year for all of us. It wasn't easy for anyone. But when I see 2020, I believe it reminded us to appreciate everything we have. It reminded us a little support goes a long way. Every day, we supported and encouraged each other regardless of the roles and goals we have. It was beautiful. It reminded us that how everyone is a courageous soul and positivity helps us keep going.

In 2021, I hope we all progress and grow together. And, for 7Cups, I wish we could become better and stronger to provide all support across the platform collectively.

@ASilentObserver, I think 2020 as a year has been one giant obstacle for everyone. A new dawn, a new decade, and we're faced with such horrific events. It's certainly been a challenge.

However, moving on to the next year could bring us more hope, love, happiness. This is a time now where we need those 3 important feelings. While they may be incredibly abstract, we do feel them all at some point, inevitably.

One wish I have for 7 Cups is, that it continues to grow as a platform, for everyone! We all need a listening ear sometimes. Hopefully, lots of more people will find us in the coming months to share how they feel 💙

@RebekahRoyal I think 2020 was a hard thing to everyone, but we all deserve the new and better year! That is the intention with which I want to start new year - or at least try to start it.

One thing for 7cups? Maybe more functions to app.

I think 2020 has really taught us to appreciate all the little things- the tiny freedoms we all have. Who would've guessed at one point, you weren't legally allowed to go outside if you had no reason to do so? It reminds us that things can happen unexpectedly and throw your world into chaos, but it also reminds us that we can accept it and be flexible with how we do things.

For 2021, I'd love for us to learn that we can do hard things, because we've been through hard things as a collective last year. I'd love for us all to embrace change and positivity. Things can get bad, but they will always get better. You can always make a positive out of something negative.

In terms of 7 Cups, I'd love to see the new projects we've launched this year succeed next year. I'd love for more people to join 7 Cups to help or to get help, and to stay for the friendships.

2020 was a challenging year, for all of us. And although there were many difficulties, I believe this pandemic has also brought us together: we are all in the same boat. So, for 2021, I hope that this connection is not lost, so we can all move forward from this year that has taught us so much.

And I reckon this links to what I hope for 7Cups: that people continue to stay connected to help and be helped in this more than wonderful community that has been built over these many years. This pandemic has made 7Cups even stronger, and I hope that the effects will be seen even more vividly in 2021! ❤️

Hi There! As said, 2020 was literally tough and a challenging year for all of us. The pandemic got viral so much and because of that, we lost many of our brothers and sisters and with that many things happened. Though everything has a negative and a positive side, with 2020, we discovered many new things and also as we all could see, the amount of pollution decreased in this whole world. And as said, we all tried and were successful in keeping ourselves and sustaining with whatever we have. We learnt many new lessons and this year taught us so many things.

I met many new peoples, got to know about them, an opportunity to help and support this world. Our small contribution leads to so much impact.

For 7 Cups, I wish all the peoples get support as everyone deserves to. 7 Cups grow everyday with great peoples here so as to provide support to each and every individual in need and make this world better and safer place for all of us.

Every sunrise gives you a new beginning and a new ending, so with this let us all welcome 2021 and move ahead with great spirit and growth. Thanks Everyone, keep growing and supporting Red heart

2020 has been a challenging year. It was tough but, because of this year, I found out a lot about myself. I got the opportunity to look at the things that were causing suffering in my life. I have learned a lot this year. And because of this year, I found 7 cups. I am grateful that I found 7 cups.

I wish that things get better in 2021. May God bless people with lots of love and happiness. And for myself, I am walking on the path of self-exploration and self-improvement, may this year give me the strength to overcome my fears and past. And I wish I make lots of friends.

For 7 cups, I wish that people get more aware of 7 cups and all the members find peace and strength to overcome their problems, and all the hardworking listeners be blessed with lots of love and happiness.

I think it's too soon to say. The year is not over yet and it still has time to f*** us

Anything can happen, at any moment. It's always just around the corner, just a breath away.

So 2020 has been a rollercoaster to say the least for me. Before COVID my sister wanted me to get a job and move. When COVID hit we drew together. Weirdly almost because of the crisis I was able to find a job at a grocery store. Then I broke my hip and learned I have osteoporosis at a young age. Currently I have plans to go back to work mid-month. Today I have an appointment with my doctor for my Leave of Absence Return to Work Release.

I learned that I'm an extrovert. Unlike the other people in my household I seem to need human interaction, seeing at least one person per day in videoconference (usually family or medical team). Having to be inside away from people really messes with me but I'm learning how to make it work.

The thing is... I don't really expect 2021 to be much different. I think due to the type of virus this is, we are going to struggle wth it some way each year until we have more of an immunity due to vaccines and exposure. I do hope we can all pull together and support each other through this, rather than giving in to panic buying and other less-favorable coping mechanisms.

Our family and friends are precious and I think this has taught us to cherish even the small things.

If there's a wish for 7cups, its that it continues, hale and hearty, and able to meet the growing need fo online places to talk and express oneself and get support. I hope to get at least my Active Listening 2 certificate this year. I hope to be a worthy listener in the whole of things and to help where I can.

what is one wish you have for 7Cups in 2021? I wish that 7Cups gains more people to listen or become a member because they really deserve it.

2020 was a year filled with tremendous struggles and challenges. Just a year ago, no one would imagine the situation we would all be in today. Times have been scary, unknown, and difficult, and so many people have had to experience unimaginable pain. However, these times have also shown many people that they are not alone, and that it is okay to reach out and ask for support.

As we move into the next year, it is true we may not know what will happen, I think this year had taught that us that the unexpected can happen anytime. However, we can continue to hold on to the hope that things will get better, and from the first day of the new year, we can be there for each other, and have each others' backs.

A wish I have for 7 Cups in 2021 that this community will continue to grow larger, stronger, and kinder together. I hope that more people join and take the first step in seeking support, and hope that our community can continue to offer each individual the support they deserve. Purple heart

Ah 2020, it was a year of surprise, isolation, self doubt, online craziness, Covid-19 and online school (most hated version of school out there). There were many setbacks, hard times and sobbing, but we have pulled through my friends and we are now on the edge of a new beginning of beginnings. As we enter the door of of the new, we bid goodbye to the old and grow into better versions of ourselves. Some of you maybe starting out at a new school, or made a new friend or tried something new. But for all the newness out there I beseech you guys to not forget the lessons of the past for they will stay with for the rest of your new beginnings, middles and endings. 2020 was quite a year, a hectic and chaotic one at that. But I think we can all say we're glad this year happened for it has made us anew.

My wish for 7Cups is for it to able to help out more people, find those buried under the rubble of despair and lift them out of it, hopefully to a better place. Wish you all a good year, find your inner peace guys.

TK out.
