We're on the home stretch! 🏁 Whether you hit your goals or had to pivot, you keep showing up. Know that consistency is the real win. Feel free to answer any of the following:

  1. What is one part of your old routine that you are happy to leave behind for good? Why does it feel better to be without it?
  2. One major takeaway: What is the most important thing you learned about yourself over the last month?
  3. Growth Check: What is one habit that feels significantly easier now than it did in Week 1?
  4. What will you do to move the needle on your goal(s) this week to finish out strong?
➡ Remember that the Huddle room is open 2/47 and runs asynchronously. Be sure to check into the Huddle room to share progress updates, and make an effort to interact with each other, as we are much more likely to be accountable as a group! Here's to a fantastic week!

@Heather225

What is one part of your old routine that you are happy to leave behind for good? Why does it feel better to be without it?
we have no routine partly due to so many doctors appointments'  and tests  just for us each day way different  but we trying to leave behind and getting  easier  is the self judgments  and self doubt  when others say things that not agree with us

One major takeaway: What is the most important thing you learned about yourself over the last month?
that even when things changing a lot we able to get up and keep going more then we thought we could everyone tell us we handle things like the health stuff very well but we at time seem to not believe that even with so many telling us that we seeing that truth but mentally it us that doubt  and cast very hard judgements  on self

Growth Check: What is one habit that feels significantly easier now than it did in Week 1?
we say believing in self and asking for help  we might change doctors due to when we ask one we have to do labs on like vitamins  to see if any low due to the stomach  issue she brush it off said we needed no testing for that  but everything we read say seeing stomach  does not empty  as it should and stay full longer that  vitamins  a lot of the time not absorbed  normalcy  so we feel she not listening to us and our needs

  1. What is one part of your old routine that you are happy to leave behind for good? Why does it feel better to be without it?
over preparing and spending too much time researching and contemplating how to do something instead of just doing it and taking action. I've found that it doesn't matter if you don't do everything perfectly when you start something, as long as you start whatever it is you want to do you can always perfect it along the way.
It makes me feel better taking initiative rather than just ruminating on wanting to do something because it lessens my anxiety to just start the task, and increases my motivation and productivity throughout the day (the snowball effect).
  2. One major takeaway: What is the most important thing you learned about yourself over the last month?
Self-doubt happens to everyone, if you try something yes you may fail, but it's better to try and fail then to never try because you will never grow and develop. Not getting out of my comfort zone, and being stagnant will do me more harm in the long-term. So I will take more chances and see where that leads me.
  3. Growth Check: What is one habit that feels significantly easier now than it did in Week 1?
I would say all of them to a certain extent. These past few weeks I have taken time to focus on myself, my own needs and wants, understand my feelings and work on past trauma that has kept me from living life.
  4. What will you do to move the needle on your goal(s) this week to finish out strong?
My main goal this week is to try to give between 90-100% everyday to different tasks that will help me to become closer to the person I want to identify as.

@StellaIsHere This all looks very promising for you Stella. I want to congratulate you on the job interview opportunities that you have had as I recall you speaking about practising STAR questions.

I do agree that with so much rehearsal at times that the candidate personality doesnt come across at times in terms of their motivations and values.

You are very self-aware and dont give that up!

I appreciate your kind words Jas. It's interesting you say that I am self-aware because I had another person (someone I just met) tell me the same thing. Believe me when I say a few years ago I was not self-assured or aware at all. So you saying that truly means a lot to me.
It is true that keeping a balance between your true self and the self that you need to show a potential employer can be difficult. I always believe that the employer who is right for me is the one that will choose me.

@StellaIsHere The employeer that is right for me will choose me - cannot argue with that! Absolutely Stella! 😊

  1. What is one part of your old routine that you are happy to leave behind for good? Why does it feel better to be without it? Consistent use of the phone especially chatgpt for  even whilst doing tasks - it limits distraction if I limit its use. I want to solely use it for the purpose of time management. Being polished doesnt win connection; people then do not understand your values in the first place.
  2. One major takeaway: What is the most important thing you learned about yourself over the last month? That no matter how much practice you do its not the only deciding factor why someone says yes or no to you. People want to know if you will be easy to work with.
  3. Growth Check: What is one habit that feels significantly easier now than it did in Week 1? Explaining intent in online messages to avoid misunderstandings. Ive recently found a great resource on reading tone (ref: Irby Psychological Services reading tone).
  4. What will you do to move the needle on your goal(s) this week to finish out strong? Continue to work on tone without limiting my personality. Giving myself short 15 minute breaks after completing one task.

Again Heather you do a tremendous job asking these meaningful questions.

Please keep going and thank you for the impact you are making. :)

  1. What is one part of your old routine that you are happy to leave behind for good? Why does it feel better to be without it?
Procrastination, or perhaps undervaluing my time. I think I've spent a lot of time thinking "I can do it tomorrow" or "I don't feel like it right now." Getting organized and having more financial stability has made for excellent motivators to move towards my goal.
  2. One major takeaway: What is the most important thing you learned about yourself over the last month?
Being poor is crippling me mentally. Having a steadier source of income is helping me better utilize the time I have, and it's helping me understand what matters to me.
  3. Growth Check: What is one habit that feels significantly easier now than it did in Week 1?
Tracking project progress. I've created a Kanban Board to track all projects I am working on. What this means is that when I have the time, I can choose from a multitude of tasks that need to get done instead of scheduling a specific task.
  4. What will you do to move the needle on your goal(s) this week to finish out strong?
I have been taking care of myself. Meditation and yoga ways in which I do that, but also taking walks, and reading in the grass outside have also helped me center myself. Professionally, I am continuing to work on completing tasks in my Sprint Method board as much as I am able (dependent on energy and time).

I am sorry to say I don't think I will be participating in the next round -- I haven't been participating very much, and that's not fair to others in the huddle. However, I wish you all luck! Y'all have been so kind and supportive and I will never forget that!
