Establishing a Simple Exercise Plan

November 21st, 2017

For many individuals, it can be difficult to exercise regularly, due to time constraints, energy constraints, challenges with motivation, etc.

Exercising need not to be a complicated process. One can establish for themselves, a simple, uncomplicated weekly routine, where one can plan out in their weekly planner, which days they will exercise, and what activities they will do.

EXAMPLES:

You can write out, "I will take a 20-minute walk [x number of days per week]."

"I will go swimming for 20 minutes [x number of days per week]."

"I will go to the gym on Monday, take a walk on Wednesday, and do strength training on Friday."

"I will go to a Yoga class every Saturday."

Making a simple plan, and writing your activities down with the specified days in your weekly schedule planner, can be beneficial for establishing an effective, long-term exercise regime for oneself.
