Feeling judged when jogging.

How can you go out to jogg without being paranoid?

Where I live people have this habbit of starring at people who are going on the street, specially when jogging. Now this doesn't me because I'm very self conscious and also I live in a town where my abusive ex boyfriend still lives. I want to jogg to get rid of my anxiety and help my depression, however I freak out about this issue.

Does anyone relate? Feeling judged or intimidated when running outside?

I thought about going to the park, thing is the park is located in the middle of a forest and many drug addicts are there and I'm scared...

I usually walk to the beach with my mum, but in terms of jogging my fear comes again.

Help?

I can relate but I think this happens a lot for people. When you see someone jogging/walking, you generally look at them inquisitively, right? It doesn't mean you're negatively judging them or even judging them at all! It's a case of pushing through it and learning to focus on your exercise and not anyone else. :)
