Hi, I saw another post about losing weight, and I have a few questions.

How do you know when you have a healthy weight? I searched up the "healthy weight range" for someone my age and height and I am a little over the "healthy weight." And when you have a "healthy weight" should you still feel and look fat? I forgot to mention  I also found out I weigh 23 pounds more than my boyfriend

Are there certain things I should limit eating? most of the time I don't eat that much maybe toast, a few snacks and dinner, but anything in particular??

I dislike wearing anything other then my jacket. Due to the fact that I look fat. So what should I do?

Hello there~

It sounds like you are having a Challenging time in your personal weight management. That can be a frustrating feeling & difficult to deal with when you are feeling unsure of what to do. Or what steps to take.

As far as having a healthy weight or BMI, this is something that you would definitely want to sit down and talk with your Healthcare provider about. So that you can both work on a plan & decide together on what is best for you personally. As well to work on ruling out any healthcare issues based on your medical history or possible underlying issues which can be done with basic lab work.

Without knowing your personal medical history, we can’t give you direct advice on what to eat or how you should eat…. However, With proper care, guidance, and perhaps coordination with a Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist, you can have a confident team approach in an individualized plan of care to help get to where you desire to be. (Through proper Nutrition & hydration, Activity goals, & personal goals).

But fruits, vegetables, whole grains (instead of white), healthy protein, & healthy snack options, as well as meeting your basic hydration needs with water (instead of sugary drinks), and limiting or avoiding overly processed foods, are always a great way to start.

Just know that we are here to support you in however we can here at 7cups! And wish you the best on your journey.

And if you have any questions feel free to message & reach out!
