Upper back injury
Hello there everybody, I have come here to look for help - it would be ideal if you don't hesitate to ask me questions or give advice.
I am a 20-year-old male, around 11 months prior when I was working hard to get myself over into gym routine I was into very heavy loads accidentally and while working my shoulders I brought about damage in what I accept to be my Rhomboid Muscle under/alongside my shoulder bone on the right-hand side of my spine.
From that moment onwards, I have had a while off of activity, extended and utilized a ball to target/massage the portion. Anyway, at whatever point I attempt to bounce once more into working out my chest area, it ends up harmed once more. I have been to my physio once about this issue and continued with the stretches he gave me without progress.
So I decided to visit physiotherapy in Etobicoke. When working out the pain changes back up and causes me evil once more.
Does anybody have any thoughts on what they think could be going on? I am truly trusting this is definitely not permanent damage as I would love to build my body once more.

Hi there...
We are glad to have you here in the Healthy Living community and seeking help and support from our team as well as members. I'm Ocean the Community Leader, .... Its great that you are trying to live a healthy life and trying to incorporate healthy habits of exercise and activity. I'm sorry to hear that you have continuous issues and concerns with exercise-related injuries/pain... That can be quite a challenging thing to deal with especially while you are trying to better yourself. There can be various reasons as to why you are having the issue. Unfortunately (as I'm sure you might be aware, or if you aren't aware) We are not allowed to give any type of medical or non-medical advice or information as such......
However, I notice that you state in your comment that you are (truly trusting this is definitely not permanent damage) ...But to be honest, as a nurse, if this is a re-curring issue that is causing you pain and difficulty the best thing to do would to be get seen by a healthcare provider who is able to do their own "professional" assessment of the area to be certain... As everyone is different and not all cases or bodies are the same. And while this might not be the answer you wish to receive, its an important one just to be sure that you are getting treated properly and getting the correct information as to not injure yourself any further~
I do hope that you are able to find more of the answers that you seek and that your situation starts to improve! Just know that we are here to offer continued support on your Healthy Living Journey!
