Challenges For Each Other! 🩷💜🩷
Let’s post tiny challenges we can give everyone who reads this, that will change their lives in a tiny way. For example, “read for 10 minutes”, “ “text a friend and encourage them”, or “add a small piece of fruit to a meal today”. Absolutely anything that can change a life, encourage, share love, change the world, or simply make you smile! Let’s share the love <3
Kiara
Challenge: Start watching Enola Holmes on Netflix. Seriously! It’s got enough action for the guys, enough cerebral stuff for those who like to think, enough romance (but not too much and not cheesy!) for the girls, and it’s also pretty dang hilarious! It’s a great self-care movie. Curl up under your blankets and drink tea and eat chocolate and watch it. It’s incredible <3
Write on a piece of paper "I am amazing, I am enough and I am worth it"
then put it somewhere where you can see it easily as a kind reminder.

Challenge: look in the mirror and tell yourself, "I am strong and I am beautiful"
@jesusredeemedme2425
Stare out the window and name 3 things that make you are grateful for.
Give yourself permission to go to a thrift store today! Tell yourself you can spend X amount of money (mine today was $2 lol), and buy yourself something cute and awesome <3
Challenge: Reach out to someone you haven't talked to in awhile. Encourage them, check in with them, make them laugh, love on them <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 drink a lemon water today, it will make your skin glowy💕

There are so many good answers to this already! You guys are amazing. :)
My challenge is to use scents to help shift (or keep!) your emotional state in a good and grounded place. This could be lighting a candle that makes your space smell cozy, using a body lotion with a calming scent, burning an incense that is reminiscent of your spiritual practices, or getting something natural from the outdoors which smells good to you. Maybe a flower, or dirt from the Earth if you're adventurous. :) If you cannot get something natural from the outdoors, you may be able to use something from natural from grocery, like the scent of a sliced apple, lemon for invigoration, or a good tea.
Yesterday, I lit one of my favorite incense for a little while, and it soothed my soul.
In fact, I think I might try that again right now! 😀
I forgot to add that when I was feeling down the other day, one of my good friends told me to "Go sniff a cat." 😂😂🙃 For any cat owners, you might know just what I mean. It may sound a little silly, but I took that advice to heart, and I immediately cuddle up my cat for a little kitty sniff. I felt better afterwards. It just works. Haha.
What do cats smell like?? Lol
@jesusredeemedme2425
Unless you have a funky one, just like a cat! 🤣🤣 I don't think there's any way to describe it, or compare it to something else, at least not in English. Similar to the comfort of hearing a cat's purr, they just kinda, smell good, in an unusual but soothing way. Brains and their reactions to stimuli are weird. <3
It’s like… umami, but for your nose? <3
@jesusredeemedme2425
That... doesn't sound like a bad way to describe it! 🤣 Haha! I never would have thought of it that way!
@jesusredeemedme2425
I had to look up precisely what umami means in this context, (and shame on me because I've studied a little Japanese, lol), but I think your reply is brilliant. Haha! 😁
@Elephi
I looked it up myself after you said that! lol.
And thank you <3
Umami, which is also known as monosodium glutamate is one of the core fifth tastes including sweet, sour, bitter, and salty. Umami means “essence of deliciousness” in Japanese, and its taste is often described as the meaty, savory deliciousness that deepens flavor. Making meals special with umami.
