People who actually can lose weight and keep it off, can win everything in life? How? Why?

What does it take to lose those stubborn extra pounds that are making you unhealthy day by day?

--A well-planned routine and consistency!

That's it! Yes, just these two things!

But the question is: Is it easy to do these things?

The answer is NO! Of course not! It's damn difficult! Otherwise, everyone would have done it by now!

So why are we failing?  Because not all of us are strong enough to fight our own demons!

The cravings, the health struggles, the peer pressure—whatever it is that pushes us to decide to "give up"—it's not easy to fight those...

It's not easy, yes. But it's certainly possible!

And anyone who can achieve their goal weight through patience and consistency and then maintained the weight over time has already developed a mindset that can help them win at almost anything in life.

How?

Because losing weight in a healthy, sustainable way can take at least 3–6 months, and for some people, it may take 1–2 years or even longer.

And if someone can stay consistent with something for 3–6 months, it can start becoming part of their lifestyle. You get me?

You become the person who can fight their own mind when it pushes you to indulge in something that isn't good for you.

You become someone who shows up even when things don't seem easy or supportive. Someone who chooses themselves, again and again.

You become mentally stronger and more disciplined, and that skill can help you achieve so much more in life.

Because to win at anything, all we need is discipline, hard work, patience, and consistency.

And the cherry on top?

You end up developing self-confidence so strong that you begin to understand just how far you can go to achieve your goals. You learn to depend on yourself and trust yourself more than anyone in life

It's amazing how building a healthy body can become the first step toward building a stronger mind and creating a better life.

I wish the world had taught us this sooner...

Self confidence doesn't always go hand in hand with a consistent exercise and weight management routine 😕😕

@RunningMachine haha... There Are always some bad days..... 😁

Overall CGPA counts... More than one single semester result.. Right?

Keep going...😊

@SoulfulSong09

Lol I'm in the UK, googled CGPA, cumulative grade point average ?

I started a running streak over 4 years ago to encourage more consistency as I have a history of blood clots, original target was a year which I just continued with my 60th birthday next January becoming the new target, but why stop there ? It hasn't made the blind bit of difference to my confidence though, I've always been an athlete by body would complain if I didn't 🤪🤪

@RunningMachine wow... You are doing awesum!!  The way you are going and giving your self new challenges, new goals... And achieving everything, you supposed to be the most self confident person I know.

Then whats you arent giving your self buddy?  What is making you doubt ur self after being an achiever? 🤔

@SoulfulSong09

It's a combination of PTSD and ADHD, exercise has always been like self medication for ADHD but I've always been socially awkward due to emotional control issues specifically RSD, part of ADHD.  Exercise is awesome for health and the endorphins help calm me but there is far more to self confidence than just being healthy and fit.

@RunningMachine cant agree more... I am sorry to hear about your struggle... But hey you are trying to fix things and didnt give up on your self...

Give your self that!

And about self confidence?  I am sure it will come along the way... You just have to be sweet enough to give your self the praises it deserves.. Thats all... 😊
