I get so annoyed at My husband, after we go to bed, he has this movement he does for about 2-3 hrs and I can't sleep, I tell him about it and he denies he does it,and when I can't sleep, my anxiety is bad and because I am tired next day,I have no energy to do anything, this happens about 4-5 nights a week frown

I am so sorry you're going through this.

What you have shared here sounds pretty frusting to me. How are you feeling about it?

I'm so glad you reached out in the forums here about this, jr50.

@Lilylistens, thank you for your kindness, I am not sure of my next step, I am frustrated that he won't go to Dr. Because he says it doesn't happen, for now I go and sleep on the couch, I avoid confrontation because it triggers my anxiety

@jr50 ~

My pleasure to connect here with you in the forums. Thank you for being a part of this community, so glad to have you here.

It really makes a lot of sense to me that you are frustrated with the situation, and that he won't go to the Doctor, as he says it doesn't happen. I am so sorry you have these frustrations to deal with.

Your desire to avoid confrontation about it, as it triggers your anxiety, also makes a lot of sense. Sleeping on the couch is a way you have found to avoid confrontation in this situation, I hear you.

If you would like to PM me to chat, you are welcome to...if you would like to continue to share about it here in the forums, that is absolutely okay as well, of course! All your choice :)

Take care, ~ Lilylistens

@jr50

It seems like there might be a need for compromise.

As married couples, it doesn't mean that you have to sleep in the same bed. Sometimes when a partner does something that may affect one's sleep such as snoring or movements, in this case, it might be a good idea to invest in another bed or sleep in a different room.

I am pretty sure he means no harm when he denies it because he is probably still asleep when he still does it.

The best thing you can do is to tell him about it nicely and then try sleeping in different beds before it affects your anxiety and ultimately, your relationship.

Best~
