**The past week has gone well... My anxiety levels were down so thats always makes for a good week..... I stayed on track with my eating, stayed within my target range of eating for the most part. Kept up with my daily exercises. Taught One Zumba class, and co-taught a 2nd class.

**The Whether is finally starting to feel a little more like "Fall", so its been a little cooler than I normally like, especially in the evenings, so I didn't get out to walk as much as I normally do.

**My sleep has gotten a little better, still need to start going earlier though.. water intake has Not gotten better frown . Will keep working on both of those things as I move into the Month of November and continue to work on those goals more.

**I will be getting another Zumba License (My last) to work with the elderly and debilitated population... Zumba Gold they call it. I will get that on Sunday, and officially take over a Zumba Gold class on Monday mornings at a senior community. And then My birthday falls at the end of the Week!

**Today is REST DAY... I have no official workout plans for today, and its also Treat Day, so I do plan to have some type of treat which I look forward to weekly.....Sunday will be a busy day, so only real plan I have is to go to bed early on Saturday night which will be challenging b/c I love to stay up late on Saturdays more-so than usual......... I hope everyone else's week has gone well! smiley

New girl shuffling in, so nothing to build on from last week as such.

October's been a real mixed bag. One the one hand, it's good to finally know what's been going wrong with my body, but on the other, the diagnoses have pretty much tipped my world on its head.

The last few days have been particularly hard, I'm struggling to adapt to the new dietary requirements I have to follow due to my newly diagnosed illnesses. I still don't understand all of it, but I think I'm starting to make sense of stuff.

I found a bunch of new recipes to try out that (mostly) turned out delicious, so I reckon they're keepers for the future. I'm also really glad that I just learned how to make soups, I'm sure they'll prove helpful as the weather turns colder here.

I still need to get on top of my sleep patterns, they're all over the place lately. I've had two nights of no rest at all, followed by crashing out during the daytime, which almost certainly isn't good for me. I have a feeling that might be linked to my general energy levels though, so with any luck that'll even itself out as I adapt to things.

@LittleMissSkittles

Its great that you have at least found out whatever is going on with you and have a diagnoses...Thats a good thing. So now you can m ake plans towards doing the things that you need to do to stay healthier!

And working and finding "new" recipes to use and adapt to, while that can be challenging at times, can also be a fun thing when you take the time to research them....

Thank you so much for checking in this week and letting us know how you've been doing! Keep up the great work!

This week has been ok. Still working on getting back to good food, and having a lot of anxiety dreams. Picked up several jobs this week which helped. Also have been working on getting our house decorated for Halloween - we use to be "that house" in the neighborhood and I just haven't felt up to it the past couple of years. So slow and steady I'm doing it this year and several of our neighbors have already stopped by to say they are so happy we're doing this again. It's also helped me to start getting part of the yard/property cleaned up as well and I'm working on doing tiny chunks instead of setting myself up for failure by saying clean up the entire front area.

I wish I had been better with my food and drinking for sure.

We joke in our home that October is Heck Month - Tons of birthdays, starting the rainy season prep, starting to work on Winter Hol gifts and more, but so far, it's been pretty calm - although still a LOT to do. We celebrated hubby's birthday this week and are planning a date night for next week with coupons and such.

I'm also starting to post pics of the Halloween decor on my feed and using the new goal setting to help me on a daily basis

@DragonFaerie thanx for sharing! It sounds like your anxiety gets worked out in your dreams... On one hand that a very good think. I hope you manage to get enough sleep.

@DragonFaerie

Thats great that you are starting to get back into some things Dragon!...

Decorating for Halloween can in its own way surely be a 'stress-buster" and something fun to do with your family.

Its nice that you celebrated your Hubby's birthday and datenights are always a great way to relax and have some needed time and fun together.....

Glad to hear that you were able to get in a few jobs as well,... Making a little extra money on the side is always helpful!........ Thanks so much for checking in this week, sounds like you are doing much better this week since the last check-in. I hope things have settled down some for you.

My days have been more like...if one health aspect goes up then another goes down or shakes :/ Like, I haven't exactly been eating very healthy lately. Not a lot of fruits and vegetables like I need except for the occasional handful of grapes or blackberries that someone just happened to have still in the fridge. Of course, there is still the veggie sides I eat with my dinner meals which is good, but it doesn't help that the people I live with tend to eat more red meat then lean meat. I try to skip out or make my own meals if there's something that I just can't eat. For instance, I really can't eat hamburgers anymore because they give me bad heartburn (as happened yesterday when I was like "okay, I'll eat one because my grandma made them"). Totally wasn't a good idea. :(

I do need to say it's not ALL of their fault though because when it comes to pastries and sweets I am so weak LOL.

Anywayyy sorry I'm kind of rambling. I'm slipping a little this month on my medication but I'm trying to get my act together on that. I've been using the Fabulous app to keep track and maintain habits, which has been encouraging.

With my new job, I've also been filling out more applications for longer term employment, as well as seeking out low-cost therapy since that actually exists in the area I live yay~ I also recently applied to volunteer at a middle school in a poor area of the city. Want to get back into my volunteering game because it makes me feel good that I'm able to help out. :)

In terms of exercising...it's getting there. There's this journey I can take in the Fabulous app that helps you set up an exercise routine for yourself, so I'm hoping to making exercise a lot more consistent. I've started, but it's only been an average of like one or two days of continuous exercise a week or so. Luckily my mom's a big help because she likes going to the gym too. She uses a walker and still goes to the gym regularly, man I need her enthusiasm. XD

@mimameid

Wow Mima!

I love your check-in!... Please don't ever feel that you are "rambling".. we love to hear from you and how your week has gone! Thats what this check-in is for.

And while I understand that keeping up with "everything 100% all the time" is challenging, we can't all be perfect in this journey.. Just concentrate on the great things that you have been doing. You are at least "trying" and thats what counts. For instance, you stated that you will try to find something on your own, if you just can't have what they are eating... and you are trying to squeeze in veggies when/where you can. Those are good things! Also, you stated you have found an App you like! So that is great! And its even more awesome that your mom is going to the gym even with her issues and is managing to "motivate" you along the way!...

Also, volunteering is AWESOME!... It can be very rewarding and fullfilling. And I think its great that this is something that you want to do with your time. To give your time like that for free to someone who needs it is a great thing!

Thank you so much for checking in this week, and for letting us know how you are doing!.. Please keep us informed on how the gym-thing goes as well as your volunteering efforts!..

I am late checking in, but nothing major is going on. I have continued to not drink wine on the weekdays, but mostly overdo it on the weekends and sleep poorly as a result. My meals are good, exercise is as good as my body will allow, treats are mostly not too excessive. I had one bad day last week where I started sinking into depression but it didn't last through to the next day, thank goodness. I have been ok in that regard for a couple of months now, which is why I'm able to keep my meals on track and my alcohol intake low.

@SadMe70

Wow..that is such a great check in Sad!..I'm so proud of you!.. Sounds like you are doing the best that you are able to stay on track where you can... Wine in moderation is a great start in allowing yourself to have it on the weekends as a "treat". (Thats how I am with my Cheesecake slice! lol wink)

And its great that you doing well with your food , and the exercises that you have been able to do....I'm also glad your depression has been at a lower level for you. Thats always a good thing to report!.... Just keep going and keep up with the great work that you are doing! I thank you so much again for checking in this week, and for letting us know how you've been and how you've been doing. (And no worries on checking in "late" as you say) Better late than not all... .and you have the whole week to do it before the next check-in comes around! See you next week yes
