3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter
- ½ cup sugar
1 egg
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC).
In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter, sugar, and egg.
Scoop out a spoonful of dough and roll it into a ball. Place the cookie balls onto a nonstick baking sheet.
For extra decoration and to make them cook more evenly, flatten the cookie balls by pressing a fork down on top of them, then press it down again at a 90º angle to make a criss-cross pattern.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the bottom of the cookies are golden brown.
Remove from baking sheet and cool.
Enjoy!

@Jenna Oh wow! So easy and sounds perfect for me a peanut butter fan! Does it matter what kind? Crunchy or smooth? And no flour! Wonderful!

Should work with either smooth or crunchy peanut butter. This is the recipe they always have on the label of the peanut butter I get, they are definitely an easy recipe that can pull together quickly.
@Jenna,
Reminds me of my baking days :P
@AnonymousFF07
Sounds like fun days.
@Jenna,

@Jenna
Thanks for sharing this, I know this recipe from every jar of peanut butter I get, and they really do work and are so simple without even making a mess in the kitchen!

@Jenna For the Australian crowd replace with Vegemite. Definitely conforms to the KISS principle, I suppose the egg acts a sufficient leavening agent. Interesting share, hope Jenna is well.
@Jenna I have made this exact recipe in the past and it's so good! I forgot all about it since it's been several years, so thank you for sharing because I want to make them again now! :D
