Homemade Chocolate Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together water, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens (about 5 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Let cool, then transfer to a jar or bottle. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

@Jenna yummmm, have tried this one several times, it turns out sooo good! 🥰

Whisking some fresh cream to it can make it a little thick and buttery also!
