To kick us off I’ll share my peanut butter cup brownie recipe.
Peanut Butter Cup Brownies
Ingredients:
Brownie:
1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup butter
1 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
Peanut Butter Frosting:
1/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1-3 tbsp milk or water, as needed to thin icing
Chocolate Glaze:
5 tbsp butter
1 cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips (depending on personal preference)
Optional chopped peanut butter cup pieces
* Note tsp is teaspoons, tbsp is tablespoons.
Directions:
Brownie:
Stir together flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.
Melt butter in a large saucepan.
Remove butter from heat and stir in sifted cocoa.
Blend in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Blend in dry ingredients.
Pour batter into greased 13*9*2-inch (3.5L) rectangular baking pan.**
Bake in a preheated 350F(180C) oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
Cool completely before icing or glazing.
** - I like to grease the pan then dust it with cocoa powder, much like greasing and flouring a pan - it helps release the brownies better without the white of flour and adds a bit more cocoa flavour.
Peanut Butter Frosting:
Beat together butter and peanut butter until smooth.
Add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat again until smooth.
Add a little splash of milk or water, beating well until light and fluffy.
Add a bit more milk or water if the frosting is too thick, or some extra powdered sugar if it’s too thin. Small additions can make a big difference so less is more!
Spread in an even layer over cooled brownies.
Refrigerate while making glaze.
Chocolate Glaze:
Combine butter and chocolate in a microwave safe dish.
Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until just melted and smooth.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before pouring evenly over frosted brownies.
Sprinkle with chopped peanut butter cups if using, then refrigerate once more until chocolate glaze is set.(You can store the brownies in the fridge or at room temperature once the chocolate glaze has set!)
Now the most important step, enjoy and share your recipes with us!

Best Brownie recipe EVER (IDIOT SAFE!!!!!):
250g of butter or margarine
10 eggs
200g of dark chocolate
100g of milk chocolate
200g of powdered sugar
4-5 spoons of breadcrumbs
Just put all of the above listed ingredients into a pan and let them melt on medium heat. Mix them good together. Then, take a tray and spread some of the margarine/butter on the tray until it is covered. Spread some of the breadcrumbs on the tray as well. Then put all of the mixture into the tray and bake on 200'C for 20-30 minutes (depending on your oven - perhaps you will need to watch and check if it is baked). Thats it!! Tastes amazing hot and cold 😍
