Official Gamer Outreach Messenger

I require a small team of official messengers. The messenger's job is to deliver messages from the leaders and core team to relevant members of the Gamer Outreach community.

I require at least 1 Adult/Teen Listener messenger. I cannot take any adult messengers unfortunately because I am only a teen listener (so I am unable to communicate with the Adult users). As a messenger I require you to always be supportive, respectful, trustworthy and reliable. I need messengers to be on 7 Cups on a regular basis so that large numbers of messages can be delivered quickly in short notice.

The core team is a group of listeners who moderate the tracks and sustain the Gamer Outreach Program. Their aim is to keep things running smoothly, keep participation high, maintain a safe and stable environment and bring new ideas to the table. They act as the voice of the people. Think of it as a Council or a Team of Overseers.

I require at least one Teen/Adult listener, and will require all core team users to be Listeners. I cannot take any Adult Listeners unless they are willing to become Teen/Adult listeners in the very near future (this is to ensure that communication always runs smoothly)

This is a two step process. Firstly you are to apply using the form provided. A few successful listeners will be selected to move into the next round. Those who are selected will have a 2 week internship-style trial. Because it is one thing to fill out a form, but managing a team requires a whole new set of skills. You will be provided with opportunities, jobs, roles and tasks and for 2 weeks your behavior, attitudes and participation will be monitored. Those who excel in their performance will be selected to be apart of our core team. There is the possibility that everyone is selected, or that only a single person is selected. So please, work to your full potential. Regardless of whether you are selected for the core team or not, this will be a great experience. It will allow you to understand the behind the scenes work most projects truly require, and prepares you for larger or more demanding roles in the future. Remember that you are all a team. So please be remain respectful towards one another.

Moderator Discussion Buddies!

Only moderators are able to hold discussions on their own. However we do have a number of non-moderators who wish to host discussions in the chatrooms. Non-Moderators require a moderator co-host if they wish to host discussions.

If there are any Moderators who are willing to co-host with some non-moderators, please leave an expression of interest below. I will leave an example expression of interest below. If there are any Non-Moderators who are looking for a co-host feel free to navigate through those who have expressed interest and send them a message. They will reply shortly and let you know if they are able to co-host with you.

This is a revamped version of Gamer Outreach with a new application form, new system and new team. This means that if you applied for previous versions of Gamer Outreach you must reapply to participate in our new program.

New Core Team Interns!

Joel will be looking after all the Discussion Writers and Hosts. Joel will be reviewing and approving discussions, and will help pair up co-hosts. If you have any problems or concerns please message Joel.

Forum Manager - @Melody293

Melody will be managing the forums. Forum writers are to send forum ideas and posts through to Melody for approval and feedback before creating new threads. This is to ensure quality is up to standard. Melody will be ensuring that participation is high and the environment remains supportive. If you have any concerns regarding the forums please message Melody.

Feed Manager - @Glue

Our feed manager will be maintaining the quality of the Gamer Outreach feeds. As the Feed Manager, Glue will be creating new hashtags and allocating them to feed writers. If users have any ideas for new feed hashtags, be sure to message Glue.

Head of Contact - @Oliver12

Oliver is our only Adult Teen Listener on the core team, making him our head of contact. Oliver's job is to manage all the messengers and ensure that the messages are being sent in a timely manner. Messengers are to report to Oliver if they have any concerns.

Any adult users who wish to contact any member of the core team or myself can send a message to Oliver. Oliver will relay the messages between users and even help set up meeting times for adults looking for further clarification.
