Today shopping for items for my 'Cozy Adventure Advent Calendar' I wore some black Prana flare pants, red and grey vans, the Tommy Hilfiger 'tower of gifts' sweater, a Ten Tree beanie, Skullcandy headphones, gold lip ring, Herschel convertible bag, socks 🧦 (I forget the brand name 😭) and a RVCA top.

I was home all day, so i didn't have to get ready... so i'm on my hoodie and sweatpants. It's my all time fav and i don't mind putting it outside as well. Styling even a basic clothing gives really cool vibe tbh

I'm actually with you on the casual clothes...today I wore black tights and an oversized white, blue, pink and red tee under a red RVCA hooded onesie, with a RVCA hoodie over that.
Yes, doubling hoodies for the win.
Then over that I wore a purple, white and brown shortie shacket and you best believe I went to the cafe and boutique in this.
Accessories were a lip ring, tentree organic cotton beanie and headphones that I want to punt off a cliff because they stopped working properly 30 seconds after using them. *Grinch mode activated*
Footwear were cozy thick socks with brown fluevog boots, and bag was the convertible Herschel (Goes from backpack to messenger - don't shoot!).
Because socks were on my caac today (Cozy adventure advent calendar.) I went to the boutique beside the cafe and bought a nice pair.
I sometimes explore numerology and was interested to see that the socks were $37 - it's the third today, on the seventh day. *Mysterious magical mystical music plays*
I'll post my caac link somewhere on here too...so far it's keeping the little Grinchy heart of mine alive and will grow it three times bigger by the 25th!

I'm much too cranky right now to change into it again and take a photo because I know I'll do a half-assed job.

Today I'm leaning into my Grinch era. Green RVCA hoodie which is giving fuzzy agro hug with a chance of heart growth. 💹
A gray tentree organic cotton cardigan and also an organic cotton orange and gray v-neck tank by an organization that supports indigenous people. I'm not about to do advanced yoga full exorcist owl 🦉 style to try see the branding at the back unless someone is interested enough to know.
Wool 🦙 brown, black and orange biking socks from a local bike shop, a brown belt with silver buckle from a local consignment shop and alpaca and wool slipper socks from one of the best and cleanest thrift stores in the world.
A sterling silver double necklace with orca and mother-of-pearl seashell inlay and lip ring for jewelry and a brownish, orangish, reddish beanie, and of course my frikkin glitching headphones which are permanently attached to my head.
Random grey undies from I think Joe Fresh and a bra I bought in what might have been a moment of insanity because it was over $150 with tax but if I were a friend of mine I'd say mistakes are important for growth, they're a local business supporting grassroots charity initiatives and artisans and we're giving away free candy so it's justified plus a well fitting bra is priceless. #deathtounderwire
Leather slippers from my possibly favourite boutique/cafe down the road if I believed in favourites (My lip ring is from there too. It's supposed to be an ear cuff but I'm starting a revolution and have no time for such rules #rebel.)
Pants are Du/er (Whatever brand that is.) from the men's section at the local thrift and I have an agate and pink quartz bracelets on with gold coloured accents including a gold elephant charm.

It's been a hot minute since I've updated or checked out this post and so I think I'll share something that's recently happened...
Recently ordered a pair of glasses. Not a big deal. Was a way to ignore Valentine's Day. BUT. The ones I ordered ended up close to being if not actually the "Ugliest Colour in the World"!!!!!
Yes, this colour does exist and is as such:
Opaque meaning "not transparent" and "couché" meaning not "what it may look like it sounds like but with a French lilt" but a heavy linen cloth placed over bread to keep it from dust or whatever while it's in the rising process. For people like me who don't make their own bread, this made little sense without some extra research.
Also, a fact about this colour that aggravates me (And while I know style has nothing to do with trend, trend does have something to do with style.) is that this colour WAS FASHIONABLE IN 2017: Releasing the fashion kraken?
Some other not-emotional-at-all thoughts I've had on this thus far:
- Linen is timeless and classic. This colour is quietly fashion then, right!? RIGHT!?
- This coochy colour is going to be right on my *** face *incoherent panic*
- I'm needing to know how I'm supposed to style. How do I style it. America explain
- It's problematic that after four careful hours of browsing I selected this colour
- I will immediately expire wearing something trendy from seven years ago
- My finances are now in ruin and I will never, EVER be seen as attractive again.

Tbh I'm liking the possibilities of the sides; the chain is interchangeable and I do weaving and design so could do some seriously fun things with them. And the heart-shaped frame is elite.
BUT HAVE I MADE AN AWFUL MISTAKE. ARE THESE EVEN OPAQUE COOCH.
Time will tell. Most likely verdict is I'm being overly focused on something that doesn't matter, need to be more engaged in a project worthy of my eye for detail and abilities AND JUST WASTED A BUNCH OF TIME MAKING A POST ABOUT NOTHING.
But for now, the jury is still out.
What do you think? Guilty as charged for time wasting nonsense or innocent of all fashion and emotional wrongdoing? Leave a comment below lol or please share any items you own in non-transparent crotch, preferably styled out lol
Okay just to clarify that at the end could be seen as a call for *** or something, haaha; it wasn't - is a bit of fun around the name of the colour.
And actually I don't think the frames are actually the obscene coochy or whatever it's called colour anyway...it doesn't have the olive or greenish undertones or tint - is just straight clear and brown. So!
VERDICT OUT: INNOCENT
Breakdown: While it was a lot of emotions and indeed, perhaps a massive waste of time and energy, much was learned about making assumptions, trusting gut choices and follow through and the ugliest colour in the world (Eg: it's used on cigarette packages in Australia to deter smoking and can be seen by smokers as an affront to their freedom to smoke.) Thus the verdict is INNOCENT OF ALL EMOTIONAL WASTAGE AND FASHION WRONGDOING.
I still may release the fashion kraken. Just for funzies.
