Loom blankets
I am currently knitting a new blanket. I'd like to keep pictures of the evolution of the blankets as they grown.
Here is a picture of it on my loom right now. This yarn worked up like this and it's so cute.
This one is finished and just came off the loom :) I'm very pleased with how it turned out

I just took this off the loom last night. It's for my bestie :)
New project, and this one I'm calling my long-term project. This is the fuzzy yarn I already tried to start with 3 times, so this is my fourth go around, and oh wow is it coming out good. I learned a new cast-on, which is the first row of stitches you put on the loom. After that, I started with a stitch I usually use for my borders, but then I learned a new stitch from a knitting pattern, and started using it in this blanket. The stitch is coming out beautifully, it's like a thicker ribbing, but still stretchy. for a blanket. The reason I'm calling this long-term is because unlike my other blankets where I can just wrap the entire loom, then quickly lift loops and repeat that over and over, this one you do different. You have to work each peg individually, and the directions change depending on which way you're working. So one by one is the same way you do it with needles. It will go slow, but I'm fine with that. I have other looms if I want to work a quick project. Also, this yarn is fuzzy and a bit different than the yarn, and it's expensive. This thing is going to cost A LOT over time. :)
If you look at my loom, I had to mark the pegs with sharpie. I do this so I don't forget what stitches to use because look, I'd forget and my blanket would come out a mess. My two end pegs are red to remind me not to wrap there. My border pegs are purple and every third peg is marked in green to remind me to switch the stitch. The nice thing about this is the sharpie doesn't stay on. It stays enough to remind me, but I can just wipe it off with a bit of spray sunscreen and it comes right off. :)
If you knit, this is a double e-wrap cast, 6 rows of garter stitch, and the main stitch is the farrow stitch. :)
Ugh this new stitch is so pretty and it's going to look so nice when it's done.
